Please point me to a tutorial or tell me what this technique is called. I have searched high and low to learn this but without knowing the techniques name I dont know what to search for. I really like the look of this and would like to try and make something similar. Thanks in advance for any leads to a tutorial.

I have seen something similar, using a sheet of sticky labels. She coloured a section of labels, stamped the image, then peeled them off and re-laid them onto a backing sheet. Could also maybe that the dividing grid is actually cut out on something like the Silhouette. and laid on top?(that actually just gave me an idea, lol). Here are some similar cards on my blog, you could just round the corners with a corner punch.( now I have another idea, lol!)

Looks like a sheet of labels stamped and stuck onto a black mat to me. There's a tutorial here for how to stick your stamped labels to your mat or card base.

stamp the image, cut apart and apply to backing paper of choice. You can also mat stack papers together, for a card front lets say, then stamp the image all at once on the mat stack.

This one uses stamped address labels. I think it was a Monday Challenge but I am not sure. It was very easy. Just stamp the labels..colour..and re-stick on to card stock.

OP, I'm sure your example is the one shown here. I have done it many times with many different sized/shaped labels. It always gets raves from the recipient and "how'd you do that?" from other stampers, yet is is quite easy and oh so fun! Here's one I did.
