Just wanted to share this with everyone. I just purchased a Big Shot from Amazon. On sale for $59.88.

No telling how long this price will last, it was $49.88 last night when I first found it.

I am having difficulty with embossing on my original sizzix machine - thinking of purchasing big shot - machine is $59.80 on amazon today - anyone know of better price than that?

I've posted this before, but Oh My Crafts has the Big Shot with a free die for 59.99, shipping $10, and they honor a 25% off coupon SIZZIX25 on the order. I know pookieadams knows this already, but for any others looking, it's the best deal I've ever seen since I got mine from Sizzix.com for $30 (ages ago, and yes, with a coupon posted on SCS!)

My Mom got lucky about a month and got a Big Shot and some dies at a consignment shop! It was someone who thought it was neat, but didn't know what to do with it. Their loss was her gain.

yes, thanks to contrapat's posting, I ordered my big shot (and free die) from oh my crafts. I signed up my email and received $10 credit so that counterbalanced the $10 shipping fee. My order is supposed to ship the end of October (can't hardly wait). I resisted replacing my original sizzix with the big shot for years. However, I was having a problem with embossing folders (getting even embossing when had to move and press down again). I know the embossing will work better with a roller-style machine. The only roller-style machines I owned were the cuttlekids and the sidekick. Now I will have to decide whether to keep my 3 old machines (since I feel the big shot will probably replace them).

I found it also on Amazon a few months ago, for $5 cheaper, at $54.99. Just keep checking back again and again...

Pookieadams, I have a Cuttlebug AND a Big Shot, and I'm keeping both. The Cuttlebug just for embossing, and the Big Shot for cutting.
