Talking Hello! :D

Hi, folks! I'm new here so I thought I'd take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Regina, I'm 28, and I am a total craftaholic. I paint, I sew, I knit and crochet, I make jewelry, I've recently started dabbling with candle and soap making. And the list goes on...

I've been interested in stamping and dabbled a bit for years, but I was really bitten by the bug when participated in a "make and take" at a local art store. We made cards, and it was SO much fun. I didn't have the extra money right then for all the knew supplies I knew I wanted, so I put the idea on the back burner and concentrated on other projects. Then I bumped into the leader of our little workshop recently and was gifted with the glorious Stampin' Up catalog. I drooled all over those pages, and thus, a new crafty obsession was born.

I've already been experimenting, using the handful of supplies I have on hand. And I've got an ever-expanding wishlist that I hope to start checking off soon. Meanwhile, I'm having a blast looking at all of the informative tutorials and beautiful projects here. I'm so glad I found this site!

Hi Regina and welcome from New Zealand! Isn't crafting fun! I also paint, knit, and make jewelery, and have made candles in my dim and distant past (I am now 51). I also love Stampin' Up with their co-ordinating papers and embellishments and wonderful stamps. You will get no end of inspiration here so have fun exploring!

Parkes: Hi, and thanks for the welcome! I've already been so inspired just looking around here over the last few days. I can't wait till payday arrives and I can go shopping for supplies! I'm definitely going to have to order some things from SU! I the only problem is going to be choosing!

UnderstandBlue: Hello, fellow craftaholic! What a great event! I know I'm behind, but I may have to jump in and see what I can do... Looks like lots of fun! Thanks!
