I had a laproscopic robotic a week and a half ago. I heal slowly in general. The surgery took about 1-1/2 hours (at least that was what was expected). I kept my ovaries. I had endometriosis (probably spelled that wrong) and fibroids (no cancer). I have 4 small incisions where they incerted instruments and some pin pricks around my belly button (not sure what that's about). I was able to walk that evening at the hospital. I was released the next morning and have been doing well. I have some healing issues due to previous surgieries in the same area but I'm very impressed with how well I'm doing.

I would go for robotic in a heartbeat. My doctor told me that if something extra was wrong he may have to do the c-section type thing to open me up but wasn't concerned that it would be needed (and it wasn't).

Go robotic!!! Cheer!

Good luck to you and I hope all goes well either way you choose.
