Hello everyone!!! I hope you have all had a wonderful week end!!!! It's my turn to host this week's TLC and my challenge to you is to add dimension to your design!!! There are lots of ways to accomplish this such as:
1. Layer your stamped images by stamping light colors in the background and a few dark colors in the front 2. Color darker shades for the background close to the main image in the design and blend out to a lighter color 3. Pop up details such as butterflies, leaves, flowers, ferns etc. 4. Add layers or die cuts 5. If you create a scene, make the items in the background look smaller then the ones in the front.

Joan, thank you for your challenges. You seem to take us back to the basics that we may have forgotten or just can't put them into words because they have become so common-place. I look forward to working this challenge.

Here's my take on today's challenge. I used pop dots on the layers of my flower to give some dimension. Thanks for taking a look and for the fun challenge.
Great challenge today Joan! I tried a new technique which uses rubber stamps to emboss. Check out my card for details and the link to the blog where I found this idea.
Joan, this has to be THE most fun challenge yet! I love dimension on cards, be they scene cards, diecuts, embellies, etc. and this challenge gave us all carte blanche to do it! I knew exactly which stamps I wanted to use and which techniques, which as it turns out, employs all five of your suggestions (quite by accident). So thanks for the funnest of fun challenges! And here's my card!
Great challenge Joan! I added dimension by die cutting a Hexagon out of the front of my card and adding a bird popped up on foam tape on the inside that shows through the opening! ok - so you really have to see it to understand!!! LOL!!
