Hello and welcome to the third annual Hope You Can Cling To Challenge! We are SO excited to have you here, and so grateful for your participation in this inspiring event!
Finding out that you,a family member or friend has cancer is such a shock. You don't know what to say, you are angry, frustrated, sad.....the world turns gray. But there is always hope and lot of times, the cancer does not win. To show that hope in your cards, create a project (or color an image) mostly in gray tones, but at one splash of color.

Ohhhhhh - I thought we were going to use "rays" on our card. Then my brain kicked in and made me read the directions. LOL! Great challenge, and I love the samples!! Thinking, thinking.....
Aha! I thought this challenge was going to be about making a card with rays on it. But a smidgen of color on a gray card sounds easy.
I had to run some errands so haven't made a card for Lori's challenge yet - still thinking about a kids card. But I have the rest of the day to do both, so I'll get them done.
Like many, I thought this challenge was going to have something to do with rays -- and I had an instant thought as I was reading the description. When I got to the "splash of color" part, I had to back up five yards and punt! Here's my card --
A good idea for a challenge Beate. My only trouble was choosing an image that worked for me. I'm not very pleased with the photo, but it is gray with a touch of pink on a white card stock base.
Liked this challenge as it took me out of my box, never thought as gray being my focus color, but sure did have fun, and have really enjoyed seeing all the great cards you gals came up with. Best Buds
