Default accucut

i have never purchased from accucut before. the other accucut dies i have i bought used.

i placed an order 11 days ago, i just got the notice they put the charge thru, so i assume this means they havent shipped it yet?! i've been watching for it to arrive and now i know it's going to be even longer.

is this normal for them? good night it doesnt seem as if a stock item should take this long. just wondering.

Hi Lori,
I am the Senior Designer for AccuCut, so I would love to answer your questions. First, If you ordered 11 days ago, our shipping is 7 to 10 business days, this does not include weekends or holidays. So if you ordered on September 1st, your order would import on the first business day which would be September 4th because of Labor Day. This would have your dies shipping from our facility between the 12th and the 17th of September. I do not know if you placed your order online or through a customer service rep but we have over 20,000 skus, so many of our dies are made to order. There is a very good chance your die had to be made and will ship out in the next few days. You will receive via email a UPS tracking number when your order leaves our facility. I hope this helps clear up the delay issue and why it takes 7 to 10 business days to receive your order. Thanks for your order and know that we strive for excellent customer service and customer satisfaction. Please let us know if we can help in any other way. 1.800.288.1670

Sincerely, Traci Armbrust

Lori, if you're on Facebook, be sure to Like the AccuCut page. You'll get notifications of sales, occasional clearance opportunities, sneak peeks of new dies, and see great projects posted by other FB fans. The page is closely monitored by ACC and questions are usually answered in a flash.

Default Accucut shipping time-my experience

I am a diehard Accucut user and have 200+ dies and on very few occasions have had to wait for a die. Usually because they had a sale and had to make more of them.......be patient, as Tracy A said it probably won't be long and rest assured Accucut is well worth a little wait from time to time.
Accucut ROCKS........................shar

I have ordered twice and had to wait twice. The first time, they were out of stock because it was a brand new die that sold very well. Understandable.

The second time, I waited 3 weeks and then contacted them and my order issue was elevated and shipped 2 days later. I don't know what happened there, but I also know it got shipped about 1 week before they moved their facility, so maybe I got lost in the shuffle of packing up and moving plans. In both cases, they never charged my credit card until they were ready to ship. That's very fair practice.

So... I haven't seen excellent shipping, but it *is* worth the wait. Very well constructed dies. Also, I have sent several questions through the website and I always get answered in a timely manner and always clearly and friendly. Customer service is great.

I don't use Facebook, but I watch the blog and I always check the Tuesday deals on the website.

My order took about 6 weeks to ship. It was during a "big sale" and I also paid $40 for shipping to Hawaii, thinking that I would get my order faster. Customer service was very responsive and their product is excellent but the delay and cost of shipping to Hawaii prevents me from ordering from them again.

i agree they are nice dies. although their cost prohibits me from owning many. i can justify spending $25 on a sizzix die that i may use very very infrequently, but when i see a $150 price tag, i think i better use that thing every day!

i understand not keeping tons of every die on the shelf, in this economy, i do that in my job. but i still hate it when an order cant go out on time because of that and i am forced to make excuses as to why something didnt ship.

i am learning there are places that i can order from that ship like lightening and others where i better plan ahead.
