That way the bond paper will absorb some of the cuts from the cutting plate and they won't go into your cardstock. i found this very helpful when cutting delicate sizzlits like the SU Little Leaves sizzlit.

Thanks for this tip! I was trying to figure out how to stop those cut marks so I will give this a try. I was using flourishes dies and I didn't want them looking roughed up.
