I made my own by just making a coil of light gauge wire. Here's a card I made using this technique on my blog: Wiggly Bum Card

Cat, your card is so cute. Can you please share a little detail about how you made the spring out of wire? Do you mount it on sticky foam to attach it to your card?

I think it's a great idea to make your own. I love the look of "wiggles" but the Action Wobbles are too pricey for me.

Thanks for the link. Those look much more in line with what I actually might purchase.

I needed to make a wiggle card a few months back (banana "shake"...ha), and in desperation used a google eye that had a spring on it. I took the google eye off and placed the bunch of bananas on top of the spring. Worked like a charm! It was inexpensive, quick and did the job.

Sorry, I didn't check back on this thread. The spring I made was just like the piggy ones shown in the link. I just used a very light gauge craft wire (almost as thin as beading wire) and made both ends of the spring larger so I could attach the photo splits and then stick it to the piece and card base. And to make the spring part, I wrapped it around a round pencil. They're really are pretty simple to make once you figure it out and you can get a spool of the wire in the kids craft section at the dollar store (that's where I got mine). If you want a flatter wobbly spring, you could make it into a coil and push out the middle slightly. It will be harder to attach at the small end though.

Default Action Wobbles

They have a backing that you stick to your card (or whatever) and the plastic spring is in the middle. The top part is attached to the piece you want elevated. If you are in the Phoenix area, you can purchase them at Scraps of Love on Peoria and 99th Ave. They are sold individually for $.39 each.

Stamping and Scrapbooking, Spellbinders, Scentmycards, Pazzles, Nestabilities,Coredinations,Spellbinders, stampingscrapping, cardscents, bildmalarna, magnolia, stampavie, slice, copic, copic markers, justrite, martha stewart, scor pal, flower soft, nes

StampingScrapping sells them - Link above. I love them for fun cards that "dance" - I had been looking for a product like this for years and finally it came on the market. I stocked up a bit, just in case....

I used it here on MuMu - IRL she dances just like she looks in the image:TLC #5 - Dance by ChaosMom - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

I've got another example that I'll be posting in the near future....

Impress sells the Action Wobble springs as does ScrapyLand. CTMH also has some sort of springy thing in their current catalog.

Here's a video on Youtube where you can make your own with two 1" circles punched from cardstock, some tape, and a few inches of thin wire.

Default Got some on Etsy

I got 12 for $5 plus $1.79 shipping - less than 60 cents each including shipping. Etsy has other qualities available from various sellers. They are also available on Amazon. The thing about Esty is the shipping is usually fairly cheap for small items where other sites charge a minimum shipping of $7 or $8.
