DGSC080  Recipe Challenge - Digital Layers - 09/11/12
FOREWORD: In remembrance of 9/11, a day we will never forget, and in honor of all the innocent people who died eleven years ago and their families, I post a quote by Deepak Chopra, M.D., below. I thought that we, as scrappers – a group of people who deeply cherish life and have a strong desire to document it — could relate to Dr. Chopra’s sentiments. Let us count our blessings. God bless America. Wendy B.
"For me and my family personally, September 11 was a reminder that life is fleeting, impermanent, and uncertain. Therefore, we must make use of every moment and nurture it with affection, tenderness, beauty, creativity, and laughter." -Deepak Chopra, M.D.

DGSC080 – Recipe Challenge-Digital Layers - 09/11/12 Many of you know Pattyb through VSBNs and other SCS threads, including Creative Crew. She put together some “recipe” challenges for us, which I’ll be posting from time to time. Here’s the first one. Thanks, Patty!
Pattyb’s challenge:
“This has nothing to do with food recipes (of course you could use food recipes if you’re doing a recipe/traditions album) it’s more about being given a list of "ingredients" that you need to use to make a new, unique, fun page that may take you out of your scrapbook comfort zone!
For this recipe you will need:
Three photos;
A black and white background;
Multi-layered embellishments (start with a punch, a flower, etc. and add layers on top of it);
A list;
At least one ticket or tag shape.”
When uploading, please add keywords DGSC080 and SBC12SEP (or OCT, or whatever month you do your page, because you can do these challenges anytime—no deadline!) Also, please take a minute to post a link to your page on this thread so we won’t miss seeing your work!
You may view all submissions created with this challenge at the Gallery DGSC080.
PLEASE NOTE! Although this is in the digiscrap threads, anyone is welcome to play--whether they're a digi, paper or hybrid scrapper. Just as the digiscrappers, when doing a traditional challenge, sometimes have to change up the instructions a little to fit their digi needs, the traditional scrappers might have to improvise on some of the digi techniques. It should make things interesting!
