I've seen this called a 2 View Card (www.cardmaking.circleofcrafters.com anyoccasionproject9.html) and an Optical Illusion Drawings (second page) www.massmoca.org/kidspace/pdf/sperber/finished%20activity%20cards.pdf

You may have to join Circle of Crafters in order to access the tutorial, but its free to join.

I think the term "lenticular card" is more appropriate since it refers to terms used in scientific research and history of photography.
What do you think about this term?

While that term is more accurate, I think most people would remember 2 View (as its easier and more visual). Also, since that is the name as it was located, it might be less confusing adding another term to the card (unless Lenticular would refer to the larger size, stand alone type of card vs. the smaller attached-to-card 2 View card)... Just my opinion...

One tip: If you are going to add it to the top of your card (as opposed to making it like the Lenticular Pop Up Card Tutorial), I suggest you make your strips no larger than 1/2" wide, otherwise it will really stick up off the card (plus you'll need a lot more cardstock for the base). Just doing 4" x 6" pictures, you'll need more than 12" of cardstock (remember the folds; I added an additional 1/16" between each strip to allow for some picture placement room (its tricky to place adhesived paper in narrow areas!). Also, keep in mind that the only thing holding the finished project onto the card is just adhesive on the bottom of those valley folds (I suggest regular craft glue).

Good Luck with your project!

The point is: whatever works for you If one size looks/works better, use it!

I'm glad I could help. Finding, trying and sharing new techniques is what crafting is all about.

In the U.K. this is called a FlipPix. To me, a flippix is a kind of never ending card--not the same thing at all.

I had a link to some printables, but it appears to be dead. Here's a photo of a finished one, however.

I agree, the FlipPix does look more like a Never Ending Card.

It's weird; the link provided goes to: Not Found

The requested URL /data/gallery/500/2012/09/25/SUO_Postage_due_version_Susy_COTE_vue_de_face_pour _SCS_by_Tootsy.jpg was not found on this server.

Fortunately, the link to your gallery works. Nice job!!!!! I'm glad you got the technique to work.
