Default Can you use cuttlebug plates in the big shot?

OK I just broke my bug :( There is a sale on a big shot machine and I am tempted to get that instead. But I have a whole stash of cuttlebug plates I got on sale, and am wanting to use them in the big shot. Can this be done? I don't want to go out and buy a heap of spare plates for the big shot since I already have these.

Thanks for your input ladies.

YES!!!

The opening of the Big Shot is ever so slightly larger so use them since you have a supply. You may have to add shims to some of your sandwiches but so what. I have CB plates that I use and don't have a problem.

I have a Vagabond use the Big Shot and CB plates with that machine also.

Ah thank you so much, think I will go with the Big Shot then. Didn't want to waste all the plates I have, bought them so cheap.

did you try to take your Cuttlebug back? I broke the first one I had, called them, and they replaced it with a newer model which works so much better! I now also have a Silhouette, but they're for very different kinds of cutting.
