MMTPT214 ~ September 4, 2012 ~ BEULAH FERRIS'S DAY OFF!
WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY
THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING TEAPARTY AND CHALLENGE #214
BEULAH FERRIS'S DAY OFF!
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!
Beulah Ferriss Day Off I've watched you now a full half-hour; Self-poised upon that yellow flower And, little Butterfly! Indeed I know not if you sleep or feed. How motionless! - not frozen seas More motionless! and then What joy awaits you, when the breeze Hath found you out among the trees, And calls you forth again!
William Wordsworth, "To a Butterfly"
Beulah Ferris wanted nothing more than a day off. She was tired of flitting about pollinating so many colorful flowers. Being an exquisitely beautiful butterfly is hard work She needed a vacation before she went berserk.
Beulah needed a relaxing rest Just once, to be treated like a guest One single day to bask in the sun was her idea of ultimate fun. If she had no work to do Shed just land and enjoy the view. Stop and sip some nectar. Not have to travel too far. No worries about some kid catching her in a jar!
When you need something done Just call on the Teapotters Were a group that likes to have fun Were as busy as hungry otters. Teapotters to the Rescue! Isnt that what we do? You can always count on us Feed us cookies and we wont make a fuss.
Our mission is to bring flowers that a tired, overworked butterfly can rest on. If you bring a friend for Beulah that she can land next to and talk to butterfly style that would be good, too.
CHALLENGE TRANSLATION: Bring flowers and butterflies. Extra cookies if you include encouraging Scripture.

I didn't have time to make a new card for Brenda because I was home in Orlando visiting with family this past weekend. But I have lots of butterfly cards in my stash so I'm sure I have something appropriate to send!
scrappinmama72inpa thanks for bringing this girl up to our attention!

I'm afraid I had to cheat a little today. This card was already made previously and I had not used it nor did it have a sentiment. Insde now had the verse: For nothing is impossible with God Luke 1:37
I just wanted to get one in the mail and it fit the flowers and butterflies: CC366 daffodil party parade by angelsparkly - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
I'm such a bad teapotter. I was supposed to have my card ready for Fran before the cheater email went out. I got sidetracked with the first week of homeschool with my daughter. Bad Teapotter..Bad Teapotter...
But I did get Brenda's card made. I want to thank all you ladies who are sending me cards to send along to Brenda. She is having a very hard time. She's in a rehab center learning to walk again and use her left hand again. She is speaking some, but it's going to be a long road for her. She is going to love all the cards and kind words. Thanks so much.
Hi Ladies,
I have been through the gallery and I can't believe all the beautiful cards that you ladies have made for Brenda. She is going to be overwhelmed. I received the first card today. My mailbox should be starting to overflow with love for Brenda soon. I can't wait for her to receive the package with all these cards in them. Thanks so much for putting so much care and love into the cards you made. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
