Sewing on a paper button - really dumb question, I know.
I want to sew a paper button onto the middle of a flower. If I sew it like a regular button and there is a knot, won't it make a bump when I glue it down? Unlike a real button, there will be nothing there to hide the bump in the paper. Should I glue down the thread ends on the back of the paper instead of knotting them?
Yeah, I know, really silly question. Can you tell I haven't been at this long? I've never even sewn a real button onto a card. I am only now starting to get into embellishments. I vowed I'd spend at least six month learning to design a card layout without them before I started adding them in.
