Can you believe this is our 4th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009, 2010 & 2011 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2012! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to see everyone's goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2012! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person will post what their scrapbook page goal is for February. We will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month. Along with the scrapbook page goal for this month, if you'd like to play along with the "Using Stash Crew" decide what your scrapping budget will be for that month.
*In this thread, we'll track how we do for the month. Look HERE to share and track your Annual Goals. *
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done, use more in our stash before buying new (well at least keep track) and if you want to play along w/ saving --- save $$ at the same time which becomes scrapping budget $ for next year -- or vacation money or Holiday fund!
Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2012 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
(Pssst...in case you're interested in the "history", here's the thread that started it all 4 years ago...
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc12aug"

I'm going to try for 15 again this month. I really need to do a LOAD, but with a week's vacation plus school starting again, I have to be realistic. My year to date is 68.
I'm going to put down for 8 again this month. I'm at 39 of 48 for the year so maybe with doing some more of the VSBN challenges, I'll actually go over the Yearly goal! However, school starts at the end of this month and we have 3 birthdays and an anniversary to celebrate this month and we are "thinking" of getting a dog for DGS for his birthday so I may not have as much time as I'm hoping to get
Hmmm, Terry..."thinking of getting" sounds an awful lot to me like "going to get"...lol...I say, GO FOR IT! We wouldn't be without our dogs--they add some much fun and interest to our lives!
Here's my first page for August. It's for this week's digi challenge. We were to go monochromatic using one color from our photo(s) and just change the shadowing and effects using our digi program:
Drank lots of Mountain Dew at dinner time so I was able to stay awake to do my first page for August tonight after DGS came home from VBS and went to bed
Here's my page for Cheryl's Photography Exhibit challenge. The hard part was choosing a picture! This is also for this week's digi challenge.
Your Mt. Dew comment made me chuckle, Terry. One time when my niece, who was about 10-11 at the time, was visiting, she got on a talking jag talking about 90 mph. She was usually pretty low key and quiet, so it was pretty surprising until I realized I had let her get the giant-sized Mt. Dew from 7-11, forgetting it had caffeine. First and last time I ever let that happen! lol
Don't know how long this will be the case, but right now you can snag this kit see attachment below), "Kinda Awesome" by Jenn Barrette for free at MyScrapbookArt.com. I think you have to register on the site to get access:
I'm aiming for 8 pages this month. I can't remember how to update my goals in my profile. I made 15 pages last month.
At the top right of this page, click on your user name where it says "Welcome taca410." That will take you to your control panel. Click on "Edit Signature" under Settings and Options, There you'll be able to update your siggy, Candy.
Well, I found you all! I have been MIA because I have been doing the Dare To Get Dirty challenges. Now, I have to finish my pages for VSBN. I did get three challenges done. But we have till the 18th, right? So, I have 7 more to do. Have 5 more challenges in the DTGD, then will start again on VSBN. Terry and I are partnering up for the Wrap Up challenge.
Here's my second page for August and my page for Lura's Ride Em VSBN Challenge. Never noticed the expression on DGS face before I did this page...it's priceless! He wanted to ride the ponies so badly but once he was up on the pony, it was like...what did I get myself into?! I guess that pony was a lot higher off the ground for an almost 3 year old than what he thought it would be. Very funny!
PAPER SCRAPPERS--PLEASE NOTE! Although this challenge is in the digiscrap threads, anyone is welcome to play--whether you're a digi, paper or hybrid scrapper. Just as the digiscrappers, when doing a traditional challenge, sometimes have to change up the instructions a little to fit their digi needs, the traditional scrappers might have to improvise on some of the digi techniques. It should make things interesting!"
Please feel free to join us!
Dont know what a Progressive Challenge is? Go here to learn.
I'm going to try for 10 pages this month. Life is still too busy around here, but I will see what I can do! Lots of challenges in the forums to get me going!
