Hi Verve fans! Are you ready to get sketchy? It's day 3 of our week long Anni-VERVE-sary challenges and today Julee and I are hosting a Sketch Challenge! Holla!
Be sure to take a close look at our samples, because you just might see some super sneaky peeks of what’s releasing later this month! You’ll have until 5PM Eastern on Friday, August 24 to complete the challenge and upload your creations with the provided keywords. We’ll draw a random winner from each challenge gallery to win a special prize package of new stamps and dies! Winners will be announced at our release party that night (you don’t need to be present to win).
But that’s not all! Play along in all 5 of the challenges and then link your creations up in the Release Champions thread for a chance to win our entire new release (a $300+ value)! To be eligible, creations must be new (posted 8/13 or later) and you must make 5 total projects (no combining of challenges, please). Verve stamps are not required but we sure do love to see ‘em!!!

Thanks so much to my fly Diva sisters for their gorgeous sketch samples! First up is a vintage beauty by Teresa! Next is some pure eye candy created by Charmaine! Next is a stitched beauty by Maureen that made my heart go pitter patter! Julee created the next stunner (be prepared for your jaw to drop) followed by the card I came up with!
We can't wait to see the creations you all come up with!
Why did I just KNOW there would be a skewed panel on your sketch LOL! Thankfully all you Divas have put me in skewed panel bootcamp this past year so I don't freak out to extremes....just moderately Can't wait to get time to try it out.

I'm pretty sure you'll cope just fine the card you made on Monday had a skewed panel when it didn't even call for it-you'll be queen of the skew before you know it!! ;)
Fantastic sample cards girls, they're all stunning! And there's shed loads of new Verve in there! Getting a little bit too excited to see them in all their glory at the release!! Whoop whoop!
Laurie, I love your card! I want that stamp!!!! That is definitely a Julee sketch, isn't it? Look at all those layers! It looks like some fun stamping today!! (I think I need exclamation point therapy... )

Tricia...no therapy needed!! I think these new stamps deserve lots of exclamation points!!!!!
Hooray for stamping time! I can't wait to see what you create!!

Like I told you yesterday, Marisa, my new motto for you is... just SKEW it! I see much skewing in your future! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I wasn't so sure when I saw your sketch, Julee, but today was one of those days where everything fell together and I really like how it turned out! Those kind of days make me smile.

LOL Julee. They are getting easier but always cause me a little hicup when I first see them. I will have to change my mantra to "Julee said just skew it" actually enjoyed this sketch. You always have the best layouts. Just nine more sleeps!!

Woohoo! Sketches are my favorite challenges. Loved this one so much, I even added one more panel! LOL. Tried each of my longer, thin panels by themselves, and the blue was too overpowering while the bird/hexagon print got a bit lost. So I used both (never one to skimp over here! ;) )
Loving the samples, and the sneak peeks!! And oh my goodness, adore the sentiment on Charmaine's card. I can't wait until the release. And then again, glad we have a little time for all these challenges...I so want to win that release!!!! I don't know how you do it all, Julee. I barely found time to brush my teeth when I had my son, and you have two at the same time!! {Bowing in awe}.
Here's my card for this challenge, again with a little new-to-me Verve I picked up during this great Anniversary sale: I'm Here
