Default Tutorial Tuesday: Glittery Leaves

Hello my friends!! I have a very easy and beautiful tutorial on how to make glittery leaves.

1.- Materials:
  • Stamps
  • InKs in different colors
  • Double Sided Adhesive sheet paper
  • Shell White Microfine Transparent Glitter (Art Glitter)
  • Cardstock
  • Scissors

2.- Peel one side of the adhesive paper and adhere it to cardstock.

3.- Now, peel the other sticky side completely. (I cut just a piece from the big white cardstock piece)

tutss3

4.- Add Shell White Microfine Transparent Glitter. Cover the whole piece and add excess back to container.

5.- Stamp images direct onto glitter piece. I used different color of Distress Inks.

tutss6

6.- Cut out all images.

tutss7

7.- Using a darker ink color, ink all edges of your leaves.

8.- Now, create a pretty card

Hope you like it!!

ETA: Just in case I didn't explain it well, in order to get this results, you NEED to use Microfine Glitter. Regular glitter won't work because it's not as fine as Microfine. Sorry if you have tried this with regular glitter.

So, so pretty. I love making my own embellishments and will definitely try this technique.

OK - now that is cool! I loved that you stamped over the glittery paper. I'm going to try that ASAP!
