To all those visited by the SU holiday catalog fairy
There were pages and pages of people dying to see it! So now I'm dying of curiosity! How did seeing it early effect your purchases? Have you ordered already? It was just the excitement and now you don't care? Or you never really cared about ordering, you just wanted to see it because you couldn't?
It didn't get me to order more or earlier, but it helped me to organize my plan of attack. And since there's so much I wanted I figured I might as well book a workshop and reap the benefits.
Where is the option for.....are you on your SECOND mini catty order!!!
 I hear that! I'll be behind you in a couple weeks. My poor pocketbook has to recoup! I placed a big order today, but I will always NEED more I can not wait to get my hands on that ornament die and stamp set bundle  I'm going to make tags and package decorations, and cards of course. Ohh and that ornament on the cover! Love the Halloween one you made by the way;)
I'm doing a craft show with a couple friends this fall, so I'll need to make quite a bit.
Ohhh can't you just those pretty snowflakes decorating cups of Snowman Soup? I'm making carrying boxes that hold two. Fun Fun
I picked the second one "saw it, not excited, not ordering" but that's kind of misleading, 'cause even if I had waited to see it, I wouldn't have ordered anything now (still might in the future). I usually have a very small wishlist for SU! so I save those up in case my real-life stamper friend wants to have a party. I did want to see it VERY MUCH because of my curiosity. I usually manage to talk myself out of purchases that are more exciting "wants" (new stamps) to save money for the more boring "needs" (tape or Copic ink refills).
Saw it but our club order goes is due in Sept. I have my next 2 orders ready to go already sitting in my email drafts waiting to be sent. Our club is set up on the old schedule dates so it doesn't really matter to us.
I had seen the PDF thanks to a fairy, then was a fairy to several people. Having the PDF early was handy for me, as was being able to request a hard copy one from a demo early, because I had planned to sign up as a demo today, and having the hard copies made it so much easier to make my order. The electronic versions were persuasive, but the hard copies are so much better (and so full of post-it flags!)

I have a list to order, but seeing the catty didn't make me order sooner. I had an order from the main catalog I placed on the 31st. I won't order again until closer to the end of August.

I chose the second option. SU stamps haven't tripped my trigger for a while, and as time goes on their stamp sets seem even more like regurgitations of their prior sets. Just my two cents.
Seeing the catalog a month earlier motivated me to put aside money that I would have spent at local craft stores. Consequently I was able to order more from SU than I originally thought I could. A win-win for me and my demo!

Same here. Based on the chatter I really expected more, but wasn't impressed at all. Nothing I want at all so won't be ordering anything. But, I also saw very little in the main catalog that shouted 'buy me!'. Was at Archivers the other day and saw lots of other stamp lines and paper lines that I thought were terrific and put a dent in my wallet.
Thanks for the comments on my halloween ornament! That was so much fun. I am working on one for fourth of July using up some DSP paper I have, no stamping. Not sure I like it as much as the stamps ones, but it is giving me some variety!!! I have it about 90% done but needs a little bling added yet!!!!
I found the catty to have GREAT mulit-use stamps and lots of accessories!!!! I love the knit ribbon. And I wasn't going to get the tulle ribbon but ended up ordering another color on my last order...it is super easy to work with!!!

That is exactly what I did It is nice to have that money set aside so that now all I need to do is send off an email to my demo; no having to leave stuff off because I don't have it in the budget I think that might just be my favorite part of this order: NO STRESS

None of your poll choices exactly fit for my response. I wanted to see it early just so I knew if there would be a set in there I wanted to use for my Christmas cards. If so; I needed to keep some money aside for that once it became "live". If not, I could keep looking elsewhere and make a purchase without worrying about saving money aside to use on the SU Holiday Catalog.
I wanted to see the Amuse one because someone mentioned it as being "available" and I thought I'd check it out for the same reasons above.
I haven't place my order yet; but will over the weekend because I liked a set in the SU mini called "Evergreen" I think....tree image and words from Silent Night.

I really like Evergreen too! It may be my Christmas set this year ... have to go play a bit!
Bought some cardstock and a few of the new classic pads. I started with all spots and am replacing them with pads as I figure out what colors I use most. This will be my first order with the new firm foam pad (I'm assuming that's what I'll get) and I'm very curious to see them.
Also bought reinkers for the in-colors I already have in pads, the ones that will go away in 2013. I don't know how I will survive without Pool Party, Island Indigo and Calypso Coral, honestly.
No stamp sets at this point. At this point supplies seem to be taking priority for me.
