Can you believe this is our 4th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009, 2010 & 2011 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2012! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to see everyone's goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2012! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person will post what their scrapbook page goal is for February. We will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month. Along with the scrapbook page goal for this month, if you'd like to play along with the "Using Stash Crew" decide what your scrapping budget will be for that month.
*In this thread, we'll track how we do for the month. Look HERE to share and track your Annual Goals. *
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done, use more in our stash before buying new (well at least keep track) and if you want to play along w/ saving --- save $$ at the same time which becomes scrapping budget $ for next year -- or vacation money or Holiday fund!
Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2012 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
(Pssst...in case you're interested in the "history", here's the thread that started it all 4 years ago...
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc12jul"

Just checking in before leaving. Will shoot for 8 pages this month since I'll have lots of downtime once I have my surgery next week and with VSBN coming up at the end of the month.

I'm shooting for 15 layouts this month. I already have one done, so I think I can make this! 58 done for the year so far (39 double page, 19 single page).
The Inspiration challenge is posted here! Have fun! I hope you will all come play!

I'll have to take some new pics this week in Williamsburg. When we went to the Visitors Center to get our badges, DGS was "recruited" to help "avert the crisis and save the revolution"! He has to wear a special piece of cloth and hook up with agent 368 and use the set of special top secret orders he was given to solve clues and find the "greyhound". He has special currency and a torn dispatch (which he needs to find the other half). (However...it is an uptodate spy quest since he needs a cell phone with texting capabilities!) lol!
How awesome! He's sure to have a good time and hopefully this will really keep him interested.
Ok, I am going to try for 10 pages this month. Maybe this will help me get back into the swing of things. If nothing else, they will all be digi pages. I'll have lots of beach pics after next week too!
Well I did not make my goal for last month so I will cut back a little this month and go for 10. I am going to a four day crop the end of July so I should have no problem meeting that goal and doing a little catch up from last month.
Wendy, It ask you to sign in using photo bucket or facebook. How do I sign in if I don't want to use facebook? Every time I have tried this blog train stuff, even for cards and images, I don't get passed that.

I don't know, Sharon. I just go there and it lets me in. I wish I could help, but I don't know what the problem could be. Sorry! :(
I have upped my goal to 8 for July. I know I have some busy weeks, but I also *should have some down time too, which I would love to use scrapbooking my three shoeboxes full of photos, LOL. Which is what I'm going to attempt to do right this minute!

You must have clicked on the image to see the full album and I think it asks you to sign up then. I ran into a problem when I went to download the elements and papers from Bon Scrapatit Designs. When I checked the box and then clicked on download, it wanted me to sign up for Windows Live. But when I just clicked on the words LLW_Camp_ papers or embellishments, then I got the download box at the bottom of my page and I could save it right to my file and then I unzipped it. Was a little different than usual.....hope that helps a bit.

I'm having the same issue:?

I guess I am a Facebook Fan of DigiScrap Depot, so maybe that's why it works for me. I don't think Terry is, though. I wish I could help, but since I'm having no trouble, I can't "see" the problem as it's occurring for you.
However, it just occurred to me that all you need to do is go to one of the blogs and start there. Each site has a link to the next site to go to on the "train." So, here's a link to get you started:
Once you get to the Luv Ewe Designs site, just click on the word "Download" above the picture of the kit. Once you decide if you want the kit, you can look for the next link (in this case it will be Fran B Designs). Click on that and it will take you there, etc. In some cases there'll be a "download" word to click, in other cases you have to click right on the picture of the kit.
Happy 4th everyone!! I got this page done earlier today and finally had a chance to upload it. Thanks Sharon, for this challenge! Hope everyone is having a fun and safe holiday!
No scrapping yet this month but I started to download the Blog Train kits, thanks Wendy! DD1 completed her grade replacement course early and I was hoping to take her shopping but I'm feeling a bit under the weather (hormones). We didn't do anything for the 4th but stay home which is rare, we usually go camping but since the 4th didn't fall on a Thurs or Mon, no extra days off for DH. Just a quiet week, even DD2 doesn't have LAX practice this week. I'm going to continue downloading more kits, take a nap (been up since 3:30 ~ hormones still), then hopefully take DD shopping...or scrap if I'm still not feeling well...either way I see scrapping in my future since there is nothing else on the calendar this week :-)).
We had a quiet 4th too. It rained some of the day, which is rare for Phoenix, so I'm sure a few pool parties were disrupted. My mom is here for a few days, so we just stayed home and visited. Not much scrapping getting done while she's here.
July is starting to fly by already! I finally made it to the beach today. We have had storms it seems like forever and this morning when I got up I was determined to make it to the beach. I didn't take many photos, odd for me, but I came home and played with a digi page. Beach 070512 by AnniePanda - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
I want to up my goal for July. I had 8 pages in May, 9 in June so I'm going for 10 in July - yikes, am I crazy?!
Probably. 10 it is for July!
I have been recalculating my yearly each time - should I be doing that? I now figure with the number I have so far (30 pages) and 10 for July plus 5 months remaining at 6 pages each my new total is 70 for the year.
