I told myself I WAS NOT going to get this & dag-nabbit! you guys are breaking my will!! Not that there's much will involved anyway, but that's beside the point....LOL
Off to see what I can sell or trade for the canvas background.

Oh ... and Emily - those cards are beautiful. The canvas adds so much texture to them. The colors are really pretty, too.

Canvas Background
When I first saw this set in the mini I thought, oh good, I don't *need* that one. Then I came to SCS and looked and ordered it the next day. ARGH! I just cut it out last night and am itching to stamp with it today. But I am getting a new paper rack and have to reorganize my office...then I have to cook for some company that is coming over. I wonder if they would like take out pizza for dinner rather than homemade cheesecake and chicken stroganoff? heehee

I'm itching to use it, too ... but I don't think I'm going to get any real stamping time until after Christmas!!! Ugh!!!

Since I'm not a demo, I'm making myself wait until January, so I can get my SAB sets! TORTURE!

I need to just realize that I should order EVERYTHING from each mini...I always end up seeing cards on here, and then "needing" stamps that never caught my eye at first! I am proud to report, though, that Canvas was in my FIRST order.
HOWEVER...from a southern girl's perspective, it does not look like canvas....it is definitely screening right off the backporch....Y'all just continue to call it what you'd like, though. I love it, but will continue to call it "Screen."
P.S. Emily, your cards are great!

I'm sure mine is under the Christmas tree. It was on the top of my list to DH. I am letting the kids open early this year (since we will be gone anyway) so I can find out what DH bought from Stampin Up!
I fell in love with it from the samples before I got my mini in the mail.

Hmmm.... if I answer, I incriminate myself, right?? LOL! Yeah, I am. Love all of the series. One year, my oldest was Data for Halloween. LOL! You should have seen me trying to slick back all of his hair (his hair is long and soooooo thick!).

Have a blast with that Motherof6!! that would be sooooo much fun. I wish my dh had bought me stuff from SU, but he knew that I would figure out what he got! lol! The samples have really been great, haven't they?!

ARGH!!! This whole stinkin' thread has made me go and put "Screen"- I mean Canvas (LOVE THAT lol, although where I am we need screen on the back porch more to ward off mosquitos than to keep the house cool  ) on my next order. Yeah, what is that restraint word anyways? Every time I get a new order in I get in trouble. LOL. Of course, I know who to blame- I'm kinda surprised that this site isn't banned from our home yet. LOL!

I am patiently waiting for my "screen" stamp to come in. I love all the cards that have been posted using this wonderful stamp.

I caved a long time ago!! When I saw Lana's cards with Bundle Up and Canvas, that was it! I had already pre-ordered my favorite Winter Mini sets, but I had to place another pre-order for those too!!! I really hope Bundle Up and the wheel will be in the next catalog! I *know* Canvas will be!

I'll be ordering one soon! I received a swap recently with the canvas background and actually had someone at a demo friend's workshop say "look - they didn't use SU! products - that textured paper is not from SU!" So, I told her it was the new canvas stamp, and hopefully made a sale for my friend (I'm a demo too...just haven't gotten my act together enough to do monthly workshops at my house - that's my New Year's resolution...more of a goal, actually!)
