Default Which edge punch do you find yourself using most?

I only have 3 edge punches and I'm trying to decide which one or ones to add that I will get the most use. This is where all of you come in :-)

I currently have:
SU Scallop
EK Scalloped Scallop
EK Binding

Which edge punch or punches do you find yourself reaching for time after time?

Thanks!!

I have a MS lattice edge punch I like to use. For some reason the regular scallop edge ones just appeared boring to me.

I use just a plain scallop quite often.
My second most used is probably a lacy/eyeletey sort of Victorian one I have that is a MS.

My all-time favorites are the Martha Stewart Doily Lace, and the Fiskars Apron Lace... my newest favorite is the Fiskars Grass Punch - it's so cute for grounding an image, or creating little scenes!

Have fun searching for new ones... there are lots of options out there!!

The ones I use the most are: MS Doily Lace and Embossed Zig Zag, EK Success Scalloped Scallop, and Fiskars Threading Water. Love border punches!

My SU Scallop Edge Border punch is my most used punch. The scallops are a nice size and it's plain enough for Whimsical, masculine or punch art cards. It adds detail without being too frilly.

Lately the one I've been using the most is the EK Success postage stamp border punch.

It's got to be over a year since I've used any of mine. I'll have to get them out again. I used to use my notebook punch a lot, which looks like a ripped notebook page. It looks nice for masculine cards, for teacher/school cards. I also like it for a "sketchbook" look for a watercolored image (stamp and watercolor the image, and then punch the top of the paper with the notebook punch).

I've given up on edge punches period! So many times they did not give a clean cut and I got tired of fussing with them. I now use Spellbinders Edgeabilities and love them. They need almost no space to store them and I can mix and match to make my own designs.

Krista, I like your idea. Will have to try this.

Thanks,

I have quite a few edge punches and love them. One I tend to grab quite a bit is a Martha Stewart punch. I don't know the name but I used it on this card (CLICKY). Look at the first one in that post. The second card is a remake using all SU supplies and I do love that border punch too.

As Laura mentioned above, the Fiskars Grass Border Punch is great and it's the funnest border punch I have. I've used it on different cards and 3D projects, a lot of them for kid or whimsical based themes, and love it. Here's a pic of an Easter candy wrapper I used this punch on (sorry it's blurry, my camera battery was low so it couldn't focus, but you'll get the gist of it).

I use the SU scallop border punch the most - have tried many others but it is my "go to" punch. Plain enough for masculine cards but also fancy enough for "fancy" cards.

I recently picked up Martha Stewart's Punch Around the Page - Craft Punch Set - CHERISH. I love it and it has been my go-to tool for several weeks now. In fact its featured on the card for this week's Weekly Inkling Dryer Sheet Flower tutorial. Whether using it to finish off an edge, create interest along the bottom of a tag, or create a pierced scallop marquee - its a great effect!

fiskars apron lace, for sure. although i use swiss cheese a lot when i need confetti for something. the ek success notebook punch is also fun... i use that one quite a bit for both cards and journaling. i have the fiskars grass punch and haven't used it much but i know i will.. love the project alleyoop posted! so cute. i should use it for scenes on my cards...

i don't have the ms doily lace but i am thinking i should get it. i can see how that would be a great basic to have.

All of my border punches are Tonic border systems that I use with the punch base. I use the various riblets the most - I love the look of threaded ribbon or paper. I also really love my newest again a Tonic is the dotty border and I have my eye on the Celtic. They are much smaller than SU, MS or EK, so they are easy to store. I have to punch more times, but am always happy with the results.

th one i use the most is probably a simple scalloped one as it can be used on both feminine and masculine cards.
i adore the MS doilly lace punch and really wanted the apron lace/open scallop design but decided to go for the matching die-namics die instead.

Smile Edge punch

I have 3 or 4 border punches, but by far, I use the SU scallop punch the most, (most versatile-applicable to the widest variety of cards), then I use both the eyelet lace, and eyelet scallop.
