HAPPY to be your COLOR hostess this week, wish I had thought to make it a patriotic pallet for Memorial Day, but alas, I did not. Anyway, I hope you have all celebrated the men and women who have given us our freedom here in America with their selfless duty for us.
I thought of the fact that my lips are half frozen permanently because Blushing Bride is only around for 3 more days........I am going to begin wearing black on June 1......and remember, if you see that my card LOOKS like it has BLUSHING BRIDE on it but says it has PRETTY IN PINK...it's an illusion.....my camera makes PRETTY IN PINK LOOK like BLUSHING BRIDE no matter what I DO!! (if you believe that, well....thank you.) Anyway, this weeks colors are:
BLUSHING BRIDE
SOFT SUEDE
CERTAINLY CELERY
AND FOR DESSERT - PAPER PIECING!!
Lydia asked us to EMBED colors on here....like color chips to show you what the colors look like,,,,so I am hoping she can come on here and do it for me until I get my certificate from the embedding class......in other words, that is over my HEAD.....I need an EMBEDDING FOR DUMMIES BOOK, so in case she doesn't make it on here, there is a description of those colors:
Blushing Bride - A DUSTY ROSE, THE EXTREME OPPOSITE OF PRETTY IN PINK, IT'S SOFT AND NOT AT ALL LIKE PEPTOL BISMAL.
Soft Suede - A SOFT BROWN BETWEEN A CARAMEL AND A CHOCOLATE.
Certainly Celery - SOFT LIGHT GREEN, SORTA LIKE CELERY.
DID THAT HELP AT ALL????? And here are our designers for this week:
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC377 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here.

this is a beautiful color combination Karen-cant wait to see all the gallery combinations. This is my last week in San Francisco so I will be sampling next week.
I will miss Blushing Bride too, Karen......maybe not to the extent you will, but I liked that it was a "warm pink" versus a "cool pink". A lovely color palette that you gave us to work with today. Thanks!
Fabulous Karen! I will miss Blushing Bride too :( On the other hand, I could pass on soft suede. Not sure what it is but I can NEVER seem to make it work for me....lol

I'm another sad one at losing Blushing Bride in the SU color line-up! Fab trio of colors, Karen, but I had to pass up the dessert! MY CARD

Karen- thanks for the yummy colors! I made this ATC, dedicated to my DD, who is touring a college right now. I used SU's Fresh Vintage (stamp images) and A Little Somethin' (Lovey Dovey heart) as it reminds me of her- stamps to represent travel, and the heart because she is a DD. Here's Dedicated to my DD ATC

These are beautiful colors. Thanks for providing a little sample and description of colors. That is very helpful. I hope to put something together this evening.
not sure if anyone answered your questions.....You can play anytime....no time limits at all.......also.....be sure in the Keywords to use the correct code so others who are playing will see your card. For example the keyword for this cahllenge would be CC377
enjoy
