Hi everyone!

Just wanted to fill you in a bit about Die-Versions! I'm so glad you've seen them, and are excited about our designs.

Any die that is very intricate and detailed IS going to require a certain amount of fiddling. The more scrolly the pieces, the more that is required to poke the negative shapes out of the finished die-cut.

However - I want to clear up a couple of things...Canada Goose talks about "pads". I think what she is referring to is the ejection foam that is included with each of our dies. It says on the packaging, and on our website to "Please adhere ejection foam directly over the cutting image." With the foam in place, these dies look just like QuicKutz/Lifestyle Crafts dies. And while we do recommend that our "Whispers" line cuts best on the Big Shot or the Vagabond {both by Sizzix} our fonts, SoloSentiments and shapes cut just fine in your Revolution, Epic Six, Cuttlebug and Grand Calibur.

That being said - we have just recently changed our method of production. We discovered at CHA, and in the spring, that most European and Asian die-cutters/crafters use the Cuttlebug, and we wanted our Whispers dies to be available to them. After much research, work, and tweaking design specifications - we have switched to a manufacturer that actually coats our dies. Think of it as "Pam for dies". HAHA You will also see "escape holes" from now on!

thanks ladies! I always enjoy talking to crafters that love die-cutting.
