F4A117 - Vellum - 05/18/12

Sorry for the late post, friends!! I've been battling the Virus Monster this week and I feel ASLEEP instead of posting last night!!! Sheesh!!

Today's challenge is to use vellum in your project. I chose to do the stained glass technique (where you heat emboss the image on the front side of the vellum and color it with markers, reinkers, crayons, pencils or whatever is your favorite coloring tool on the back). But, since we truly are a "Free for All" ... you may use vellum any way you wish, just so long as you use it!!

I'm going to cheat just a little. I did a card for this week's CCEE challenge, which was also to use vellum -- but never uploaded it to SCS. I promise to do another vellum card later today. But in the meantime, here's my Thinking Vellum.

I've been quilting up a storm! Or, at least a bunch of crib sized quilt tops... Some for the nursery at our HS, one just finished for a first grade classroom at the school where I used to teach. SO, my challenge cards this week have been fairly CAS.

Don't often use vellum in my projects, and have some interesting pieces in my stash. Thanks for this great challenge!
