Good morning! Thanks for joining us for another "Ways to Use It" challenge.
Today we're going to dabble in complements...complementary colors that is! Complementary colors are those colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel. For my sample I used blue and orange, which also happen to be the color challenge colors for this week!
To help you choose your colors, I've included a color wheel graphic. Just pick a color and look across the wheel to find its complement! That's all there is to it...can't wait to see your "Colorful Complements!"
The samples you see were done by Michelle, Toni, and yours truly!

What a great challenge, can't wait to get started! But I had to take a moment to share a favorite site with interactive color wheels, Color Scheme Designer. I use this site when I teach color theory and it is a great resource!

Thanks so much for that color wheel site. I've tried to find useful color sites, but never happened upon this one. The color wheel book that I have just doesn't give enough options. I'll use this site a lot as I have a horrible time choosing colors. Thanks again!

Here's a second card using pink and green, a fav. or mine. Today I'm using primrose petals and gumball green, two of the new colors coming to SU June 1st!
