So, if I want to use a Bigz XL box#2 die in my cuttlebug, along with using extended plates, I also need a crease pad, right? Is there an alternative item I could use? I have silicone rubber pads, maybe a different sandwich??
The crease pad stops the score lines from cutting - I think if you use a regular pad they don't score properly and are likely to cut instead. I'm not sure of an alternative, maybe somebody else can offer a suggestion on that.
I tried all types of alternatives and none really worked. Many I tried just cut the creases. I finally took a coupon and went to M's and bought one. Good Luck

Still stuck on this one. I have a cuttlebug, and I want to buy a sizzix BIGZ XL bos die. I know I need an extended crease pad to use it properly, and the sizzix one is too wide for a cuttlebug.
Does anyone know how hard it would to cut down a sizzix crease pad to fit a cuttlebug OR does provocraft make something similar OR any other alternatives??
I'm in Australia, so I may not have access to all the stuff America has!
I use the Box no. 2 die in my cuttlebug all the time without a crease pad. It scores on the score lines, but not deeply, so sometimes a bit hard to fold, but it works and is great.
