Hello...Been a watcher for a year and finally signed up to the board!I am so excited to start posting and meeting you all
I have been stamping for 4 years and a demonstrator for 6 months...had to support my hobby. I had to stop working outside the home after getting Neuropathy, a central nerve disorder. Selling Stampin'Up! keeps me in touch with the outside world and now I am discovering the internet to share my love of stampin with.
Thank you for letting me join this lively group. Happy Holidays to all!!!
Emily

Hi Emily,
Welcome to the world of posting. It's lots of fun and very informative. I feel like everyone here is my friend as well.
I'm in NC, too. Durham to be exact. Where is Harmony? I don't think I've ever heard of that town and I've lived in NC most of my life. Is it a little place?
Happy Stamping!
Janet
Hello Emily,
Welcome aboard!! No pun intended! LOL!
This site is amazing! You will love the boards for sure. Lots of creative people on here and always ready to lend a helping hand.
I live in Oak Ridge, NC, a small town just outside of Greensboro. I don't know where Harmony is either. Love the name though, sounds like it would be a peacful, quaint little town...
LOL...Nobody has heard of Harmony. We are right outside of Statesville, same county as Mooresville, home of Race City USA. My upline's group is in Mooresville, so the name Race City Stampers.
Thank you for the warm greetings...I am going to love it here. So nice to meet others from NC! I love to visit Greensboro and my doctors are in Winston...so I go there often. I am 30 minutes from Winston and 50 miles from Charlotte.
This is so fun!!!
Thank you all,
Emily

Welcome Emily! You will quickly become addicted to this site. Your house will become "au natural", your children will learn to become independent and you will soon be convincing when you say that ketchup is a vegetable and serve it for dinner!

Oh, forgot to into my doggie, Annie. In real life she is my buddy who is a Stampin' hater...says it takes too much time away from her. So I make her happy by putting a dog in my avatar space.
Not crazy, just love my dog!

Hi ya Emily! Always good to hear of another stamper in NC! hahaha.. I am in the boonies too (Mt. Pleasant). Though at the rate they are going, we won't be the boonies much longer! So much construction all around! Looking forward to seeing more of your posts...
Welcome aboard Emily! I am from the boonies of Virginia. I live only 4 miles from the North Carolina border and about 1 hour from Durham. Hubby and I spend a fair amount of time in the good state of NC as our eldest son lives in Raleigh!
Thank all of you again for the welcome...I am still excited about being here, but as a newby to SCS, please excuise any mistakes I may make. I am the type that just jumps in and post...So mistakes I will surely make often, but it will be cause this is new to me and am trying to remember everyones name! Now that is hard!!
I am glad you liked my avatar..she is a cute puppy!
Sincerely,

Welcome from Kings Mountain NC This is a great site with wonderful ideas. Don't forget to sign up for the demonstrator only portions. Still more ideas there! And I think the Dirty Dozen is worth every penny. I am afraid to go there this morning. I need to go shopping and know that I will not want to break away from the great ideas! Those ladies are so talented. Have a great day!
Oh Keri!!! I would love that! You ladies feel like family to me and I would love to meet some of you face to face. Name the time and place and I'm there.
Janet
Welcome to a great site. I'm in Greensboro, NC. From the responses so far, you are not alone! I, too, had to leave my career due to a health problem, and stamping came along as a lifesaver.
Hi there, I know this is an old thread, but came up on a search of "Statesville", hoping to find some local stampers. I am new to the area, moved here 6 months ago from CA. We live in Statesville. Would love to meet other local stampers!

Welcome Erin! I'm in Raleigh, NC and have been with SU for 3 years.
I would like to invite you to our NC SplitCoastStampers Event on May 14 somewhere off I-40 in the Raleigh/Durham area. More details are to follow but there is a thread under General Discussion called NC SCS Event. Keep watching that thread for more details and if you can come please do so - the more stampers the merrier!
