SBVC175 - Bloomin' Spring (4/11/12)

Happy Spring everyone! Everything is blooming and the pollen is painting everything in a lovely yellow. Last week my girls and I took a trip to North Carolina to visit a college and then a side trip to the beach for a couple of days. I noticed lots and lots of beautiful blooming plants with bright pink blossoms on them. I think they were azaleas. I have a couple in my yard too and they are in full bloom complete with several fat bumble bees swarming them. So, can you guess the challenge?

Let's see pages in bloom! Look in your yard, your neighborhood or your town and see what's blooming and get inspired. Don't have anything blooming? You can use the azalea as your inspiration. One last thing...we can't forget the dreaded pollen that goes along with all the blooming so be sure to include the color yellow on your page.

Nothing blooming here yet- we still have some snow forecast and temps in the 20's at night. BUT- I will use the garden inspiration idea..

I wish we had gotten snow this winter then we wouldn't be dealing with all the bugs. It was just not cold enough to kill them off this year.

I've finally gotten lots of flower pictures and some pretty good close ups of the ones I've planted on my new patio. I'll have to do a page in honor of them before they die...(I've got a brown thumb!)
