Default Janome 3128

Hi all, my Janome sew mini finally broke for good, and I need to buy me a new sewing machine. I really liked the Janome sew mini, and was looking into buying a new Janome machine.

I saw this one at hancock fabrics , and was wondering if anyone has it and if so if you would recommend it.

I don't know about that machine, but I have the Janome Magnolia 7318 and I LOVE it!

I have a computerized Janome, can't recall the model number offhand, but looking at Amazon, it's very similar to the 8077. I'd never had a computerized sewing machine before this one, and it's a dream. It only gives me trouble when the bobbin area has too much lint/debris in it, then I clean it out and it's good to go again.

The reviews for the model you listed look (mostly) positive. If you can, you might want to go to Handcock and see if one is on display to try yourself. That way, you can see if the feel is right for you.

Another thought. Somewhere in SCS there was another discussion about sewing machines and someone learned that Janome also makes Kenmore machines. You may be able to get a better Kenmore machine for less money.
