Question SU red inkpad problems?

I have a Riding Hood Red inkpad from SU that doesn't stamp very well. I have reinked it numerous times, but the top color is mottled and it is sunk it the middle of the pad on one side. I've never let it dry out. Anyone else have any problems with this pad?

Mine developed problems after about a year. Finally, I noticed the pad was deteriorating and the stamped images looked blotchier than usual and the ink didn't dry properly. I tossed it and what was left of the refill.

I never thought to get a replacement pad, thought maybe I'd had it too long, etc. I'll keep that in mind if or when my Cherry Cobbler and Real Red pads go bad.

Contact your demo - they should be able to offer advice. I have heard of a lot of people getting these replaced as it's a known issue with some red pads.

Most likely they will replace it. It is a problem with most of the reds. I just had some replaced. It's SUPPOSED to have been fixed....

Mine went bad pretty soon after I bought it. It was such a long time ago, I never bothered contacting my demo...

My Riding Hood Red and Cherry Cobbler ink pads are great, it's my REAL RED pad that has always given me trouble!
