Default Cameo question on downloads

I am curious ---when you purchase a design for the Cameo ---and then go do cut it ---the design is usually in pieces if using more than 1 color. My question is ---how do you remember how to put it together ----or suggestions of what colors to use for what? Do you somehow save a copy of the picture in the library? Hope this is making sense! Thanks!

I usually have to go back and forth between the photo in the library to remember what it looks like completed.
For complicated ones, I've taken screen shots and then printed them out.
I used to be able to right-click and save the photo and print it, but they seem to have disabled that now.

That is a a good idea to do screen shots --but I also forget how to do that. I have been doing that also ---going back and forth! But, I usually do take pictures of my cards so guess I could reference them that way. Thanks for the help!

For a screen shot on a PC - its alt-print screen. (usually in the upper right hand corner of the keyboard). Then I open Word and paste.

Hope this helps!

I've just worked out a way to do it..

I save the image as a photo somewhere on your desktop.

then go into the silhouette software and go to open and locate the saved image on your desktop.

you will then have the image come up on your blank screen.

I then open whichever image file it is which will open up on a seperate document... I then go back to the first document with the photo copy it and then paste it into the second document where the cutting file is...

keep it on the side where it doesnt cut and then save it as a file... now you will always know what it looks like

I know it's a bit lengthy but you soon get the hang of it!
