Default ink dusters

Hi, I saw a video on using ink dusters~looked like something I could use~I can't brayer so I thought I would try them. But I can't find them~except in the UK~and they're all sold out. Has anyone used them~and can you get them somewhere in the US?

They look like mens' shaving brushes. The old fashioned ones they used to use for applying shaving cream. I actually bought a couple similar items at a craft store, they had a really long plastic handle. If I can dig them up I will post a pic.

Here's a link to an online vendor:
Catalog

Click Techniques on the top menu bar for more information.

They also have larger sets...Search Color Dusters.

We're just talking about ink dusters on a UK forum I belong to and this is exactly what several of the girls use rather than buying the pricey craft version - inexpensive shaving brushes.

How do they work? Do you rub them on your ink pad and then onto your card?

Hi, that's exactly what you do, just rub them in ink and dab on the paper. I really like the control and they really lay the color down nicely.

Thanks, morningsun47. I'm a brayer idiot, so I'll give it a try.
