Forget April in Paris its too rainy; lets go in March and get real zany!
Thire mardi va la France 1 where well see the sights, the City of Lights, kick up our heels and dance. Visit the Louvre and take a high speed train to the Cte d'Azur. This week we are heading to la belle France.
Ladies, your Passports, please. Were travelling first class; so it will be a breeze. Behave yourself in the TSA lines If not, they hand out hefty fines. Arrive 2 hours early to check your suitcase. If you packed a carry-on youre a real Ace. Don't forget the dramamine if youre apt to turn the colorgreen.
Aboard the plane stay buckled in your assigned seat Were cruising at an altitude of 42,000 feet. The flight attendant is serving us in first class. Isnt it nice to drink from a real glass? In the afternoon theyll serve us high tea as we soar above the deep blue sea.
Were circling Orly or is that Charles de Gaulle? I didnt know the Eiffel tower was so tall. When stamping our passports will they use Stazon ink? Im not really sure, what do you think?
Well travel to the beach via chemin de fer 2 And try some European style sunbathing, without a care. Were across the Atlantic so who will see us? Hey! Put down that Canon, Nikon & Olympus. Remember to put sunscreen on places never before bared Sunburn in such a spot would make me scared.
Lets take a rest at an outdoor caf Eat a croissant and sip a caf au lait Well people watch on the Champs-Elyse Well never be bored at the Place de la Concorde. I just hope we can find souvenirs we can afford.
Haute couture sure isnt for the poor. Lets crash a Fashion show and prove were in the know. I dont jest, don your best when it comes to fashion, were hot flashin. Well show the House of Dior that fashion shouldnt be a chore. Were teapotters we've got style and panache galore. No need for a $42,000.00 price tag for one shirt Such a price would make our checking accounts hurt.
Well attend the Folies Bergre, and if you dare well dance the Can-can; lift our skirts and holler Oooh did I just feel a euro or was that a dollar?
Please pass a madeleine as we wave good-bye to the Banks of the Seine And maybe well return one day soon, to visit la Belle France again.
Challenge translation: Bring anything that has to do with France: haute couture, croissants, cafs, the Eiffel tower. If you bring French fries or a camera come in the backdoor. If you forget your sunscreen youll suffer, for sure. The French nicknamed the Eiffel Tower La Giraffe an extra croissant au chocolat if you make a teapotter laugh.

Here is my card! It is not funny, but maybe a teapotter will be tickled to get a card with a new technique on it. Maybe....
Your story was great! I am just not creative to make funny cards.

I'm not having any issues with it. Have you tried clearing your browsing data? Sometimes my internet browser misbehaves and won't let me look at stuff, then when I clear the browsing data it magically appears the right way. I'm not a techie person so that stuff makes me crazy!!
Fran, what a wonderful poem, I really enjoyed it. We booked our for-real tickets to Paris this week too (for a June trip to celebrate our 25th anniversary), what a funny coincidence. I love Paris in any month, April, March, whatever. Getting to go twice is a bonus, LOL.
Oops! I forgot to post here duh! I am not so good at this! Here's my card for Fran's fun challenge! You go girl! That is quite the poem! Like Mrs. Cousins would say, Life is an adventure!
Happy Birthday Lorraine! I hope your flying pigs don't make off with your birthday cake and presents! If they do......when they flap their wings as they fly down and the candles are snuffed out, make a real quick birthday wish and you will get your cake and presents back! Hey, it could happen! Tee hee!
Fran, I don't know what's up. I only can see the red x too. I think it might be a sizing issue or your picture might be in the wrong format? Not sure but I have also attached a picture here if that helps!
What a fun challenge this week, and it really was because I had nothing in my stash of stuff to use, but found these 2 images on the Internet. I'm really loving digi stamps.
Shout out to any Seattleites or Vancouverites we are heading to your neck of the woods this Summer. Any craft stores I should put on my list? Also if anyone can recommend a restaurant that serves authentic dim sum, please pm me.

Happy Anniversary! Lucky you, Ahh someday I'll get there for real. Send me a croissant, s'il vous plait!
Better late than never!!! I hope anyway. I am inundated with packing up dishes and crystal, somebody tie me up if I ever try to buy anymore glassware ever in my life. We save $3,000. if I pack myself and that buys one heck of a lot of stamps so that's what I'm doing. I couldn't fancy this up too much as my stamp room is torn apart. Here is my simple but heartfelt, "In the Pink in Paris"
