I don't do a lot of colored bases unless they are premade. I seem to not be able to cut a straight line for a card base HA! I also do not like SU white to color on. It doesn't take colored pencils and OMS well for me..may work for others. I do love their colors though and usually throw in a couple of packs when I make an to use it to layer on.I need to try Ginak K..keep hearing great things about it.. I like Sabrina, usually stamp on Bristol or water color..both of which I seem to have A LOT of because I use that in my regular art work there. I did recently buy some Neenah and some far I like the Neenah..haven't tried any of the PTI yet( didn't buy white ), but I will say I can get some wonderful results with plain cheap old Georgia Pacific from Wal Mart. I do need to be more mindful of layering my pencils with it as it wont take a lot of layers..but for the price and availability..I don't think it can be beat.
