MAR12VSNN ~ Saturday, March 10th ~ 9:00 PM ~ Spring Snows!!
Title: SPRING SNOWS
Hostess: Lee (LuvLee)
Keyword: MAR12VSNN
Day/Date: Saturday, MARCH 10th
Time: 9:00pm EST
Not all of us have crocus, daffodils or tulips blooming yet!!!! In fact, March and April are the snowiest months on average here in Colorado! And on my mountain we get snow every May and sometimes in June!!
So....my challenge is to make a snowy card!!! Yep....you're having fun with all these flower and critter and sunshine challenges and here I am......gonna SNOW on your parade!!!! LOL You can make a snowy card by using a snow scene, using Flower Soft or Stickles or glitter to make snow/ice, use a winter image.....so many possibilities!!!!
1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00PM EST ON MONDAY, MARCH 12th.
2. You have 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
3. Please remember to put the correct keyword, MAR12VSNN, when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
4. Remember not to combine VSN challenges.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this thread to be sure your card is seen.
I was definitely unimpressed by our snow amount. Last year was a record, and they projected this one to make that look like a summer squall. Bummed. Thanks for letting us hold onto winter a little longer, Lee!

I am working on a spring colored snowy card which is making me feel better for the moment. Thanks, girls! I always feel better when I'm stamping among friends. Especially friends I can't infect! LOL

Okay, about this card: The white layer was already printed with the computer generated message. All leftovers from yet another past paper tricks project. I even still had the masks for sponging around the snowmen! Which meant I could finish a little early and do some clean up...
SNOW!!! I never get tired of snow cards! There is a certain stamp I have been wanting to ink! Lee yours is so PRETTY!!!!
Haven't had as much time at VSN as I thought I would and tomorrow is BUSY but the time I have gotten to spend has been FUN!!!! Please thank all the hostesses for their time and great challenges!!!!
Thanks! I got to the gallery and realized I put the wrong letter on one of my cards and fixed it! I didn't think to use spring colors on my spring snow card! Dah!

I love the yellow and brown. Her outfit is so cute, and that flocking is perfection. Lee, you always amaze me! No pink... are you sure you're not sick too?

Hi Lee. I can relate....snow is the norm here in Canada at this time of year. But it's slowly melting away. So here is my snowy, glittery scene in hope of spring:
Thank you for this challenge! I thought I was done with VSN, as I had company yesterday, and then had a busy day today. Just looked at the challenges and was inspired to make this Christmas card!
Oh, This one was so much fun!!! I did make a little mistake. I placed a great big die cut snowflake towards the bottom. It messed up the whole balance so I took it off. Then I had a big blotch down there. I just added more snow and no one will ever know!!!!

Here's mine really just a bit of a snow drift, bit hard to imagine snow here in Brisbane, our average tempreture at the moment is 28 degreas celcius dispite the rain and us being into autumn now.
