Title: Four by Four

Time: 6:30 PM
Leap year happens every four years and this Leap Year my girlfriends daughter is celebrating her 4th birthday�even though she�s now Sweet 16! We will be celebrating Caroline�s 4th birthday with a fun challenge�here are the four elements you need to include:
1) Use four � 4x4 photos
2) Use the sketch for Inspiration (does not need to be exact, use as a springboard to your own creativity)
3) Include journaling
4) Use four decorative elements (bonus if they are 'sweet')
SKETCH: If you're viewing the sketch via the attachment, the white base 12 x 12 paper did not show up so just imagine it (FYI, the grey is 11 x 11)

That should be a great page! We're doing a Disney Cruise next week so I'm going to put some small books together for my girls...hopefully before we leave but may not happen until after ;-) __________________

Oh, my goodness! I have been gone and forgot about the Mini starting tonight! I feel like I am still on a ship! Rocking and rolling! I really like your challenge, and will try to do it tonight or tomorrow. I haven't even been down to my creaft room yet!

I read lots of things before we went and I bought a small clipboard and cut up white cardstock into quarters and took along a black sharpie pen for any characters to sign but since I do digi...I think I'm gonna have to scan the signatures and add them somehow to each page.
A cruise sounds fun but since I don't know how to swim....I'm a little paranoid about big ships. And with all the "accidents" happening with the cruise ships, I have no desire to go on one!

LOL! If a problem occurs it won't matter if you know how to swim or not. I'd be nervous if it wasn't Disney; I'm fairly confident of their Quality Control and their detest of law suits so I'm going to be positive. Definitely won't do Carnival though! This is our first cruise, actually our first big vacation.
Just watching the news and am so sad about the death of Davie Jones...one of my first crushes! __________________

Would you go with your DH & DSs or other family members. I was hoping my brothers & DHs family would be interested but they weren't. Just as well. I'm looking forward to it; I've only heard great things about their cruises. We're on the one that started to sail last year though there is a new one currently in New York harbor. My girls are very excited! __________________

I have my photos edited and lots of ideas swimming around my head, but don't know if I can work on the layout tonight! Still have to do homework with the kids, and I go to Bible study tonight, so I may have to wait until tomorrow to start.

Thinking about my photos, and will get down to work right after supper. Been home from work for 15 minutes and its been a long day. Fighting a sinus infection I think as I feel like my head is in a jar today, but I really want to play, so I'm going to! lol

I'm finally here. We are currently under a tornado warning and my girls are at dance rehearsal and DD1 will be driving them home. This is perfect to keep my mind occupied. I just purchased some new digital stuff for Disney pages so maybe I can use some of that.

Got this one done, I stuck to the sketch and kept it pretty simple. But it's way too dark to get a decent photo of my page!

My page is finally uploaded. Been having problems getting SCS to move along....
Disney World Animal Kingdom
The stamp mat is actually a freebie PNG file that had pictures on it so I just placed a sheet of digi paper on top of it and clipped it down...covered those other pictures up and put my own on top then. Worked out perfect!
MP....it looked exactly like your sketch! What a find! __________________

Fun time tonight!
Thank you ladies for the exciting challenges! I had a great time! Although I figured out how to decrease the size of my pictures, next time, hopefully I can upload them in the right direction! Haha! Take care everyone! I'm actually going to keep scrappin since hubby out of town and kids went to bed. Feel like I just got started and on a roll!
