Hi Everyone. Just started making cards about 6 months ago, and now I'm addicted! I finally got the nerve to start my gallery! I love this site and will probably love it even more when I know what I'm doing!!
Hi, a warm welcome to you from a freezing cold Scotland! We are hoping to come to Canada on holiday this summer - drive fro Calgary to Vancouver and take in the stampede while we're there. A couple of years ago aguy called Johnny Reid visited the school where I teach, he's a singer over your way, have you heard of him? He was making a Christmas special about going home for Christmas and visited our little vilage school where he grew up. He is singing at the stampede so I'd like to see him!
Hi Janny, Welcome! I live on the East Coast so am no where near Alberta, but I imagine the Calgary Stampede is awesome!
Yes, I have heard of Johnny Reid....wonderful singer!
I hope you enjoy your trip to Canada!
Well hello Janny,
I'm a bit closer to Calgary than our Maritime friends. I know a great deal about the places you are visiting as I've been there many times. There are a lot of Alberta/BC people on Splitcoast that could give you tons of advice for your travels. One place in particular that you will love is Banff and Lake Louise. Absolutely gorgeous.
My family is from the Ayrshire region and two towns in particular, Sorn and Muirkirk.
