Wow, that is my question too. I will be watching to see if you get any answers. I have a box of ivory envelopes but my cards this year are crisp white and I just can't bring myself to put them in ivory. Is that crazy? Seriously?
I thought I would go to Target today and see if they have any. Have you tried that yet?
I ordered some a year or so ago from ebay. I don't remember the vendor but that might be a place to look. They were quite reasonable. I ordered several hundred and when I actually counted them, it was way over so I contacted the vendor to see if I owed him some more money but he said no, he just stuffed the box as full as it would go :>
I get my envelopes from Heinrich Envelopes. You can get 1000 envelopes for $18 plus shipping, taxes, and a small order fee. But if you make cards for Operation Write Home, they will wave the small order fee.
The last time I got envelopes (with the small order fee), the total for 1000 envelopes was $42. That is $0.04 each.

Do you like the quality of their envelopes? Meaning, hope they aren't thin ones.
Yes, you need to be a member to shop at Sam's. The warehouses offer a One-Day Pass for non-members. There is a similar "Invitation to Join" for the website that works the same way as a One-Day Pass. There's a link to it on this page: One-Day Pass
I use Sam's envies all the time. Good quality. I have them sent to my house as it's free shipping. And I get quite a few boxes at a time as I got thru lots of them. I would highly recommend them as I've found I can't beat the price and the quality.
I order from Paper-Papers.com 1000 envies for $48.00. That is less than $.05/envie as opposed to the $.10/envie you pay.

desktopsupplies.com. That is where I bought my envelopes. I think it came to 9.95 for 100. Not the greatest price but a source. Glad to hear of others.
I go to the local paper store...the kind that carries LOTS of paper in bulk and delivers to businesses...and buy a few boxes at a time. I can specify the type of envelope I want (square or pointy flap etc) and get a box of 250 for around $11.

They are a little thin. They have other envelopes that they say are thicker, but they are not. OWH uses these envelopes for their cards and those cards are mailed from the Middle East to the US, and they make it through the mail, so they work for me.
