There is no 'deadline' to completing your Christmas cards for January, just remember those who do finish within the designated month go in for a small prize!
Having the cards written first before I decorated the house, made this a less stressful season. Love it. I used the 'Heavenly Peace' set to make these cards. TFL
Ok, don't anyone pass out....heehee...those who know me have prob. just barely recovered from me getting Jan cards done way ahead....and here I have Feb ones done...Darn, that feels good.....here they are
Here are my first two cards for February. My Grand Madison Window die arrived yesterday and I couldn't wait to play with it. It works really well with two of the stamps from the retired SU set "A Beautiful Season".
I only ruined three sheets of cardstock trying to perfect what I was attempting. I tried to put three embossed squares across the page using my Nesties for embossing without cutting. I couldn't get them all lined up properly for the life of me. This is my simplified version just using some horizontal score lines in lieu of the squares.
Thanks for looking :-)

I'm in awe of those of you who make all different cards each month! I have enough trouble coming up with the idea for one card to make a bunch of... ;)
Great way to use the leftovers! I like the idea for candles...very cool!
I had made a card with 5 smaller candles as a birthday card. I used the petal punch to make the flames and did not have an easy way to get to the smallest petal without punching out the bigger one so I already had the 'flames' ready to go for these cards!
It is a great feeling to be ahead in making Christmas cards thanks to this challenge. I made 4 of these. Only one more to go for February (which isn't even here yet) Woohoo!
Vertigo has struck me again. I suffered all year last year with it. It's awful. I am sitting here very still looking at everyone's cards!!! It's inspiring me!!! Looking forward to this bout passing so I can make some cards!!!!!!!!!!

Oh no. : Hope you feel better soon! I know what you mean about looking at everyone's cards. I start off looking at one card and next thing you know it is is two hours later. :oops: The creativity and talent on this site is amazing!

Oh boy, you poor thing! I get that - sounds like yours is worse, but I got it about 10-11 years ago for like 3 weeks, horrible. Now it just kind of comes back periodically but never quite as bad. Very very weird.
Vertigo is awful. I always keep Bonine on hand in case it starts to make me nauseous!

Ugh! I feel for you. I woke up Friday before last to find I was on a moving merry-go-round that looked suspiciously like my bedroom. Was in bed with my eyes closed the whole day. Many doses of Bonine later, I am cautiously optimistic that this round is over.
I'm sitting here shocked and amazed. Still a few days left in January and I have managed to figure out the design for my February Christmas card challenge card (with some inspiration from stampinandrea!). I've even managed to use a little more of my stash in the process. {doing my happy dance}
So now it is back to Valentines for a bit and then I'll circle back and finish the rest of the February set.
OK, so here I am popping on to the February challenge thread thinkin I'm sumptin' HOT and I see SOMEONE is done... BACK IN NOVEMER???? OK, those SO DONT COUNT... that was 2011!!!!!! :mrgreen:

So sorry you were suffering with this issue. I hope you have recovered. Looks like lots of us are susceptible to this problem. Mine is an inner ear issue (labrynthitis) It does tend to reoccur from time to time. I get it every few years or so, often not too serious, but my last bout this past year had me flat on my back for three days......and it started at work! Fortunately, I work in a hospital, so there are lots of beds! Working the nights shift, you can't really call anyone to replace you in the middle of the night, so the hospital was without a supervisor that night. It survived, so I guess, I'm not indispensible after all
