Ok so I am looking at this for 2012 am I to understand that the goal is to make 8 Christmas cards per month and then post pic's of them in my gallery? Starting in January 2012 and then linking to this post.

Seriously? Cards already for January!? LOL
WOW Rita, well they do say when the cats away the mice will play. So when hubby's away the ladies get inky! LOL
What???? Not really? I am still making this years!
Well, maybe since I am joining this year, next year I will be able to make Januray cards in Dec!
Sharon
I have to confess, I used one for this year. I sent it to a friend who actually has one of the old silver trees she puts up every year (along with about 6 other trees).
Here's my first card for January 2012! I'm still very much in the mood for Christmas, so may as well start for next year! I addressed all my 2011 cards last night and even had a few extras - what a great feeling to not be under the gun to finish cards at the last minute!

It is nice having the cards done. I just need to write the short newsletter and they'll be ready to go. They'd have gone by now but I forgot to get pics of my grandgirls to include. Oops!

I really hate being left behind in the dust, so I am posting a photo for the January cards. I am cheating a bit, as technically, I am using these cards for this year. I made 13 of the cards(even though the photo only shows . I wanted to give all of my colleagues a home crocheted snowflake for their trees, so I incorporated them into the cards. I haven't posted these in my gallery yet.

Oh, my goodness! Ina, these are wonderful, and the recipiants are going to feel sooo special!
I have been going thur here and trying to leave love in your galleries. But I am not even thinking about Jan, yet, as I still keep thinking up more people, and have to make cards for this year! Just think I will be more prepared for next year!

Wow!! I can't believe I'm this far ahead....I was really "through" with Christmas cards for this yr but this design just popped into my head and so went with it. So here are my 6 Jan. cards.

I think I am going to give this a try this year. I did it a few years ago and loved that I had my cards finished and ready to go in Nov of that year. So with all that said I am setting a goal of 6 cards a month.

These are all Christmas cards that didn't get mailed for Christmas 2011 so they begin my 2012 list and are my January submissions. These ended up being my 'sample' cards.
