This year our Thursday challenges are all going to focus on song lyrics or quotes. Oh the possibilities! Ok so on to our first Thrusday Challenge.
I chose the song "Old Lang Syne" which literally translates to "old long since" or more roughly it means long long ago or days gone by. Consequently "for auld lang syne" as it appears in the first line of the chourus translates as "for the sake of old times".
So the challenge is: to use 3 pictures
2 different DP's
5 different embellishments
and have 2 decorative edges
if you notice these numbers add up to 12...Happy New Year 2012!
You can use pictures older than last year I just wanted to get on paper how much our little miracle girl has grown and her tiny days are long long ago! Have fun with the challenge!

Beautiful adorable subject and page! I love your focus for 2012! It does seem to have a lot of possibilities! Can't wait to do one. Right now craft room is all over family room, and I am getting ready to paint craft room. I haven't even decided the color! I am terrible at picking out the color for painting! Will do this one tho! I plan on doing as many of the challenges as I can this yrear!

Oh my is this ever hard for me. Not the 3 pictures. Not the 2 dp. Not the decorative edges. My problem is the 5 embellishments! I'm a clean and simple kind of gal so this would be WAY out of my comfort zone.
Right now I'm unmounting some wood mount sets. When I get that project done (it's going faster than I thought) I'll hopefully pull out my scrapbooking things.
This year for New Years Eve I was traveling so I had some funny photos for ringing in the New Year but they were perfect for this challenge ... I even used some of the lyrics from the song....the only ones I know, LOL!!
I had the "FA" part in my key words already. I did put the "Thurs" ahead of it just now. Hopefully that's what I needed to do. Will watch for a new challenge today.
