Alphabet Challenge Rnd 3
WELCOME!!!!!! to round 3 of the Alphabet Challenge. I am so excited to start this round. I want to thank each and every one of you that participated in round 2. I had a blast chatting with y'all and I got to see so many beautiful creations. So let's continue having fun!!!! Remember: EVERYONE is welcome to play.
This round I am switching how the Alphabet Challenge is played. I know each of us will have a ton of fun with this.
As a child I used to play a game with my friends called "One line at a time." How it worked was the first person would use the first letter of the alphabet and tell the first sentence of the story. They had to use at least one word that started with the letter A. Then the second person would use the letter B and add a sentence to the story. Only they had to make sure to use a word that started with the letter B. Then the next would add a sentence to the story using a word in that sentence that starts with the letter C and so on until we got to the letter Z and the end of the story.
This round of the Alphabet Challenge is based on that game. Each of you will tell your own story. Whatever word you use is the item you should have on your card.
It is NOT mandatory that you do your own story each week. You CAN make a card based on anyones sentences each week.
We will continue the "Happy Mail Lucky Dog". If you are new to the Alphabet Challenge this is how the Happy Mail Lucky Dog works.
Each week there will be a drawing to see who is going to be the "Happy Mail" recipient of the prior week's cards. If you win you choose where you want us to send the cards. They can come directly to you or if you know someone that could use some "Happy Mail" you can have the cards sent to him/her.
It is NOT mandatory for you to send your card to anyone. You can keep your card if you wish. Please keep in mind some of our players are outside of the United States. Therefore, you may have to use a little extra postage if you should choose to mail your card out.
In order to be entered into the drawing to become the "Happy Mail" recipient you MUST post your card here in this thread. Your name will be entered into the drawing for each card made. So let's say you made 2 cards for the letter "A", your name will be entered into the drawing two times.
The most important thing of all is to HAVE FUN!!!!! So let the fun begin.
Please feel free to pm me with any questions you may have.

Awww I am no story teller..... I don't tell tales....
But I will try. First I thought I had to tell a story of me....like my life story, I tell you I am a woman of mystery so don't go there....
But I can tell a Fairy Story, YAY, yep, I can really be in fantasy land .....

Apples
My artwork is A is for Apples. Amazingly, it's not the card I set out to achieve when I sat down at my stampin' table. That almost always happens. After some fussing around, I arrived at this achievement.
Here's the story:
Attractive Annie ate apples awaiting amazing artist, Adam Arthur�s autograph and ate abundantly affecting an abdominal ache.
Looking ahead to seeing all your artwork for letter A!

Diane you did a fantastic job! LOL!!! I doubt I will be able to pull enough brain cells together for the story part but I'm sure I can handle making the card!

Okay.... Here's my Awesome Attempt At An "A" Alliteration.....
After all Anthony alliterated, as an admirable axiom after all acceptable avenues are attempted, adapt, accede, and accept always applies!
It’s not a story but it’s a good Motto! (Thanks Tony!) he helped me *shrug* I’ll try to do better next time!
Now here's my card.... I called it ABUNDANCE Lynn helped me with the name!

Hello ladies!! I sort of cheated just a little for this weeks card. I'm totally using one from my stash, but I have such a splitting headache right now that I don't think I could create anything if I tried!! I will attempt to come up with a story.
Alas, this antique truck attempting to deliver an abundance of ample apples as Alex anxiously awaited their arrival.
Ya, I know......but it's all I could come up with!!

Your card is artistically amazing. Your story is absolutely perfect! Wow, you can think like that with a headache? Your authored words described the stamped image amazingly well. Awesome! I appeal to you to rest up and get rid of that headache. I get them, too. No fun at all.

Well I'm off to bed... I'm totally exhausted and it's bad when I am sitting here watching the news on TV... nothing but bad/sad stuff... I'm too lazy to find the remote to find something more upbeat to watch. I think I will head off to dreamland I am working tomorrow and I'm looking forward to having a positive and productive day
Hopefully Lynn will stop sending all the cold weather my way... My dogs really need a nice walk and I would like to take them out without freezing my butt off and theirs!! LOL!! Probably wouldn't happen with all of the fur they have on them! ;)

Here I am again, made a post, where did it go??? Maybe I forgot to click the send button.....I do that a bit.
Oh well, now I forget what I said, but you can be fairly sure it was about these quick little fellas posting already since I had to be at work and then make my cards (not blogged yet) and then make some coleslaw and some banana bread (love that stuff) and get the things ready to make zucchini slice and salad for dinner....
Love the cards, and our Yvonne has gotten big girls panties for Christmas and made a BLOG!!!!! How good is that????

Hi ladies. Posting so I'll be subscribed. I'm thinking about my story and card. The first thing that comes to mind is "Sam is Awful at telling stories!!!" LOLOL!!! But that won't work because I don't know how to make a picture of awful. I know. I'll take a pic of the crafty mess that is my craft room--it's pretty awful!!! LOLOL!!!

Good morning ladies. Wow!!!! You all are doing such an awesome job with this!!!! How fun reading the beginning of your stories. Okay I am going to change the rules just a little to help those of you that either feel you are not good story tellers or that just don't like telling stories. Feel free to make a card to go along with anyones story. It doesn't have to be mine. I will put that in post one too. Also, I realized I didn't put the Happy Mail Lucky Dog in post one. We are not doing a drawing tho, what I want everyone to do is to send your card to the person you cas'd. Is everyone okay with that? I think we are going to have a ton of fun with this. I will get my card made later today. Dr Doofus is having me go in for a MRI today. He is finally worried about the fact that my left leg has no reflex to it. I guess he is concerned now because neither does my ankle. It took him long enough. He is having me start physical therapy when I get back from vacation and he is sending me to a neurologist(sp). I asked him why noone has done this before...he didn't have an answer. DUH!!!! Anyways...I have to take my Christmas decorations down tonight too. I am leaving for Kenosha on Saturday. I hope everyone has a great day. Sissy I hope you are feeling better. Huggs.

I am going to work in my craft room so will see what I can come up with... I have an idea.. but .. at times they don't always work out lol
