I have decided to start a new thread for the pay it forwards just for us north of the border. This thread is for people that are in Canada and want to ship to ONLY CANADA
Please note that this is a PAY IT FORWARD THREAD. There is no limit as to what you want to gift or how much. I understand that sometimes there is limitations on what you can gift or what yo can spend on postage. I LOVE doing this just because I have a whole lotta supplies that I do not need/want and woud love to see them go to someone else that loves this craft/hobby as much as me.
If I can help someone out or make someones day, all the more better
Wishing you much fun as this thread grows! I have formed friendships just by becoming a part of the original Pay It Forward thread. Those benefits outweighed the gifts!
And, of course...it's always as much fun to GIVE as it is to RECEIVE.
I have a Cards Magazine/Book for June 2010 in perfect shape. I will send this to the first person in Canada to send me their address. Please remember I expect nothing in return

I will send them to the first person that sends me a PM with their mailing address. Hope they find a home that can use them!
The Flourishes stamp set 'Fine Herbs' has found a new home. Maybe the recipient will post something she made with it!!!! I will be mailing them out this week.
.....I hope you gals don't mind me posting it here:
I am currently hosting a 'PUNCH ART' swap and would LOVE to have you Canadian Gals partecipate too ...

as it is dedicated to beautiful inspiring 'punchy' links for
everyone's enjoyment and/or muse ♥ TXS! ♥
I went through my ribbon this weekend and got rid of 75% of it. I'm a teacher so I'll bring some to school for projects and the rest I'm putting in my LSS's spring garage sale. It was very liberating as I was quite ruthless and was able to empty three drawers down to one.
I already have a number of stamps to use on the back of cards, projects etc. that say "Handmade by...." or some version of so I am going to give away this brand new set of similar stamps. It is by EK Success, Image Tree and it is an acrylic stamp set called "Handmade". There are 11 stamps ...some sayings are...
Made by...
Made with love by....
Just 4 You....
Handcrafted with love...
Limited Edition...
etc. etc.
Email me if you would like to be the new owner of these stamps.
Ok please forgive me.. I'm old...lol.. but I don't know how this works?? I have been clearing out some stuff outta the craft room this week and would love to give some of it away..

Well as far as I understand it and I did give away one set of stamps- you just list what you would like to give away and whatever rules you might have and then send them to whoever responds according to your rules. i.e. I gave a stamp set to the first person that sent me a PM (personal message) giving me their mailing address. I'm not sure what "rules" you might apply. I have not heard yet if they received them yet or not. I hope so. Maybe someone else will be able to give you more information.

Jenny [card_creations] started this thread as an off-shoot of the PAY IT FORWARD thread. Often, on that original thread there would be indications that the giver could only mail to U.S. [I was one of those folks. The postage is too prohibitive for me on a fixed income.] So, Jenny talked about starting a post for the Canadians and we all thought it was a great idea and wished her well. I always sneak over to see how she is doing.
Whatever you want to post, you just put it up for grabs. Some posters make a game out of it and give it to the third person asking or whatever. You are the giver you decide how you want to give it away.
Once you've been on the receiving side, it is always nice to be a giver then.
Two courtesies are always appreciated:
#1 It's nice if the giver places a post when the item has been spoken for. This will keep YOU from receiving lots of requests when it is already promised.
#2. It is a very nice thing to thank your giver once the item arrives in your home. Please and Thank You are still the magic words.
Hope you all continue to have as much fun with this as we have over at the other thread.
