Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be filling in for Roxie this week! I drew this sketch with the image I used in mind- I've totally fallen in love with Cocoa Mouse! And it was pretty fun to NOT make a holiday card this week - I needed the break from the Christmas frenzy, even if it only lasted for one card I hope you have time to play along this week!
Here is my card sample: Hugs & Kisses You'll notice that my sample has a slightly more square image panel than the sketch - that's perfectly fine! Whatever works best for your image! I included very basic measurements in my description, if you find that helpful.
The attachment will print out to actual size of an A2 sized card for most computers. The frame for this sketch disappears behind the circular panel and the thin panel - that is because for this sketch, the go to the edge of the card.A2 is 4.25 x 5.5 inches. Printing directions are in the Master Thread linked above
I was so happy I could make a card before going to work this morning -- it's been a while since I could do that. Thanks for filling in this week, Taylor. Here's my card:
I tried to use my new TCP Snowflake Lace Paper Die for the first time and I was so disappointed. I ran it through my Cuttlebug at least 15 times, switching the direction and changing sandwiches and still could not get it to cut the snowflakes in the center. I finally ended up hacking at them with my knife. Has anyone else been able to use this die successfully? If so, what am I doing wrong?
Thanks for a fun challenge, hope to be able to participate more often now that we're through the worst of the holidays!
Thanks for the super sketch today! I made a Christmas themed one with my newly acquired Holiday Hello set from Stampin Up (from 2000). I love red, green and white!
Love all the examples this time. Circles are hard for me, but here goes. I had to try another masking attempt. This time, I used only inks and A2 piece of white cs. Ink Only Sketch & Color Challenge

Just couldn't resist doing another card- this time, changing the orientation of my oval to fit a tent- and adding camping reindeer! Hope you enjoy Camping Deer

Could you be a little more specific with the measurements, please? I don't have Nestabilities, and am wondering about what size the square and circle are. I don't usually print the sketch, as that can use a lot of ink. Thanks.
