DH and I have finally gotten our birthday boy in bed. Mr. 13-year-old thinks he can stay up later now that he's a teenager. Not on school nights, buddy.
It's been a fantastic run the last three months, but it's time for me to pass the torch along to the new design team now. Congratulations to Loll, Nancy and Charlene, and to all of the guest designers! You are all an asset to the CAS side of Splitcoaststampers!
And as the others have said... those of you who didn't make the team this time, please don't give up. You never know when it'll be your time to shine in the spotlight.

HOLY SCHMOKES, I am stoked to read that I made it on the CAS DT! I am thrilled to be on it with the talented Nancy Littrell and Loll Thompson! Thank you and congrats to all the guest designers, too! I'm on the road typing this from my Droid so I hope there aren't too many typos. Yippee!
I'm so excited for the three new designers and I'm honored to have been chosen as a guest designer. Thanks so much....it really makes my week which has been quite challenging in a whole different sense of the word!
What great picks, Jen...thanks so much to the retiring DT for your wonderful work and inspiration. Congratulations to Nancy, Charlene and Loll. I can't wait to see the wonderful goodies that you will be stirring our CAS souls with. Thanks also Jen for letting me dip my toes in as a GD - I can't wait! There is some amazing talent in that group too, so much to look forward to!

Congrats to the new DT and GD! I'm sorry I didn't get here for the party, SCS was acting wonky for me the last 2 hours. I couldn't get logged in or anything, kept going to a white screen. Anywho, I can't wait to see all your gorgeous creations for the Winter term!!!!

I'm sorry I wasn't here for the party until very late last night, but I wanted to come back here and say a few more things where it's easier to type from my home computer.
First, thank you so much to EVERYONE who has congratulated the new DT and GDT members. That's a part of what I love about the SCS community: we all encourage and support one another. I can only imagine the tough decisions the judges had in narrowing down the candidates each time. I was so awed by the amazing CAS talent that showed up in the gallery.
Jen, thank YOU for introducing us all to CAS. Thank YOU for being so organized and making it a fun event to try out for the team. Thank YOU for all your hard work on this. I know it can't be easy devoting the time to it with all you have on your plate. Thank YOU for being so encouraging and supportive of others! You have one of the biggest and kindest hearts.
Nancy, yes, we are old SCS friends for sure. You and I have grown together, my friend, with our stamping creativity and skills. You have always been a huge encouragement to me over the years with your heartfelt comments and private messages. I have favorited many of your cards over the years. I am so thrilled to be on the CAS DT with you!
Loll, it's only been the past few months that I became familiar with your name and your gallery as you joined the daily challenges. I love your fabulous work that clearly shines and stands out in the galleries. I am looking forward to being on the team with you, too, and getting to know you better!
Guest DT members: some of you I have known for quite some time and others of you are fast becoming familiar to me as I see your terrific designs in the galleries. I am so glad each one of you will be playing along with us, and I am looking forward to getting to know you better, too!
Last, I eagerly anticipate discovering more CAS inspiration from each and every one of you talented ladies! CAS is definitely a challenging style to me because I've always felt the need to add more. However, I have become a BIG fan of the clean, beautiful look of CAS and the fact that they are easily affordable and mailable cards!
I'm excited....and, yes, a tad nervous....about being on the winter team!! So, Jen, start our engines and tell us what our first challenge is!!!

AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I totally missed the party last night and just now saw the news! I'm so excited! Thank you so much for the guest spot!!! And a HUGE congratulations to the rest of the new CAS team! Everyone's work was amazing...so glad I didn't have to make the decision!! Thanks again, can't wait to work with everyone as a guest! Yippee!!! I'm doing the happy dance!!
Hi and congratulations to the wonderful bunch of inspiring cardmakers who have been chosen for the DT this time around, and to the Guest Designers too. Thanks to the 'judging panel' for including me in the GD team - you made me very happy! Sorry I missed the party but we were away for the weekend. I'm so excited to see the first challenge being posted and can't wait to jump in. Thanks too to the wonderful moderators and DT who keep us on our toes with the great challenges every week. Keep 'em comin' ....!
