Hobby Lobby has the 40% off coupon (and they'll have it every week till Christmas). They also carry 6 pack sets of Copics, and individuals.
My friend made me try hers one night when she was here scrapbooking with me. I hadn't ever tried them, always figured, "Eh, it's just a marker, I don't need them, I like my prisma/OMS technique... "
Needless to say, I was VERY WRONG(imagine that!)!! I couldn't stop looking at them every time I went to HL, drooling all over the locked case that they keep them in( I guess they were having issues with people stealing the individuals).
I finally couldn't take it anymore...I used my coupon... I bought a set... and went back the next day and bought another... well, you can see where this is heading, I'm sure... ;)
Then, I found someone selling a bunch here on the B/S/T forum. I HAD to have them! When they came, it was like Christmas! Hehe I got replacement nibs and put brush ends on the end where the chisel nib was.
I'm SO addicted!! Every time I have a little $ I think, "Oooh with my coupon I could get another Copic!!" LOL
Just thought I'd share ... Am I the only one?

Oh, you are not alone!!! I tried to stay away from them for quite some time. Then my LSS had classes for them and I was sold. Sign up at Oozak.com. they have great prices. I have to start ordering my refills soon, especially for the light colors. I checked their prices and they have the best online that I have seen so far.
Oh, dear! is right. I'm so glad that you posted about your "problem." I, too, just saw the little starter sets at Hobby Lobby and wondered if I should try the "Floral" set with my 40% coupon. I ended up not getting them. My concern is that I know I saw somewhere about the fact that you have to use special paper with those. I didn't pay much attention because I was thinking I would never "jump on that bandwagon." But I'd really like to see what all the raving is about.
I have seen that MANY use the Georgia Pacific cardstock... I get mine at Walmart. It works beautifully!!
I have to tell you what I did tonight. The girls at HL know me pretty well... gee, wonder why!? I had all four of my kids with me, and they let me use FIVE coupons(one for me and each kid!)!! It was five different transactions, but it was still only $4.48 each! SCORE!!

I've had mine for a long time and bought sets at MFT when they were on sale, so I never had the 'thrill of the hunt' that those who get singles do -- but I get the enthusiasm!!!
I only wish I had purchased Originals instead of Ciao, so maybe I will go down the 'singles' road. . . and one day sell my Ciao and pass the love on to someone else :^).
I also want to share that I only recently tried Xpress It cardstock (which I bought at Ellen Hutson LLC) and it is amazing for blending.
Location: The Volunteer state....beautiful Tennessee!

You're not alone! I pass by my local Hobby Lobby on the way to my son's school. So every day when I picked him up, we would go in and buy two Copic markers with a 40% off coupon. The employees got to know us and were glad to see us. It was so much fun choosing the colors I wanted each day. Now I look for stamps that I can color with them.
You can replace nibs on the Ciao and Sketch but you will only be able to have the brush and chisel (and maybe a fat point--I can't remember).
If you get the square Originals you can change for different types of nibs. They come with a fine point and chisel but you can switch for a brush or extra fine point or a couple of other things. I am moving towards having all the originals with a fine point and brush nib on them.
Lol!! too funny, i work at hobby lobby, and copics are like my crack, so addictive, but I buy most of mine online at oozak...and sorry about that one child you're going to sell to feed your habit
The prices went up after the disaster in Japan. But A|MUSE Studio is keeping the price in their current catalog until the next one comes out in 2012. For now, the classic markers are still $6 and the refills are $5.95 (not including tax and shipping). A 6.75 oz bottle of colorless blender fluid is 12.95, and nibs are 4.95 (pack of 10) or 5.95 (3 brush nibs) depending on which shape you want.
