I was going through the gallery of one of my favorite stamp sets (Botanicals - wahhh:() and ran accross this beautiful card. I think the colors are lovely and the embossing is beautiful. The creator of our inspiration card for SC27 is Jess-witty.

Congrats to Sherlie, our winner for the week!! Sherlie - please send me a PM with your addy and I will get a prize out to you

I don't even know what day it is! I completely forgot that today is Wednesday - I've thought it was Thursday all day! DUH! :p
This one looks like fun! I won't have time to try it tonight, but hopefully tomorrow afternoon I'll have time to play!

It's not quite exactly the right sketch...but it's similar. For some reason, my brain just did not want to cooperate, and I couldn't come up with something I liked for this one. Maybe I'll have better luck tomorrow, I'll try again then. Here it is anyway...

Thanks AndreaSophie, I answered your PM and sent you my snail mail addy,,,, wow,,,, I was so surprised to win. There are so many great cards here and it is easy to comment. These gals make it so easy with their great work and their willingness to share. I have definitely felt like my cards have improved from all this exposure and everyday there is something new to see and learn. Thanks to you AndreaSophie for doing this challenge every week.

Hi! I just wanted to post that I love the sketch challenges. I haven't tried posting any of my cards yet (gotta figure that out) but I love to look at current and past sketches to jump start my creativity!
And I enjoy looking at everyone's submissions! Just wanted to thank everyone here! You are all so amazingly creative!

This is going to be a fun challenge. Andrea, you sure know how to pick the inspiration cards. This one is beautiful.
I looked at everyone's so far and they are fabulous cards. Now to find the top of my desk so I can start making cards.
Sherlie, congratulations on winning the bonus!

I won't get to play again until early next week since we're going out of town. Have fun!!

Thought I'd give this a try. I had a hard time finding exactly what I wanted, but this would do. The side pieces should have been more muted but I'm happy with the results. I may try another that I have in mind.

Here is my card for the Sketch Challenge. I had a hard time finding something to coordinate with the little squares and then not be too big. You could turn this card and use it either way. I am considering using this for my Christmas card but not with the embossing. That is a lot of work when you have to make so many. Thanks for a fun challenge AndreaSophie

Well I needed a quick card today so I used the challenge to come up with something.
Something went wrong with my download, so the picture didn't load. I will try again then post the link.

Here's one that combines CC17 with SC27. The Poppin Pastels didn't come out that clearly in the scan.
