Welcome to our Fall VSBN Academy. During your time here you will work on your personal ABC Album, the Subject is yours to choose. Each Academy Teacher will share with you what Subject they chose. You are to work on the Letters that they share with you. However, you do not need to use their word (unless you want too). The challenge will be their 1-2-3 steps below. Enjoy and be sure to share your page here and to use the correct keyword. Read the rules below your Teacher's challenge to be sure to get included for any Award or Recognition.
I am so excited to be kicking off the main event! I've chosen a sports career album for my oldest son so of course my challenge is a sports related one!
My challenge to you:
1. Before starting any games, meets, or matches you must have practices. The athletes begin the season a little rusty because after all it has been almost a year since the last season. So to represent the rough days ahead, there must be some distressing on your page.
2. After a few weeks of practice comes the regular season. At the end of every game the athletes from both teams line up to shake hands and congratulate each other on a good game. So in honor of the line-up, there must be something on your page in a straight line. It could be a line of embellishments, photos, or even a line of journaling.
3. When all the regular season games have been played, the best of the best meets for the championship and the winner receives a trophy or a medal. Because we are all winners, there must be something metal on your page, brads, clips, eyelets, whatever screams champion to you.

UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. To be considered for VSBN Recognition, ALL CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON Sunday, October 2, 2011 using the correct Keyword. Each letter can be represented as an upload either individuall or as a double page spread.
2. You have a totall 2 working hours to complete the challenge (the concept is you can complete 1 page for each letter represented using the challenge as a guide). For contest purposes, 1 'Letter' per participant per challenge will be eligible to earn award/recognition. For example: if you complete 2+ 'A' indivdual pages for this challenge, and upload each of them to the gallery you can only win one award/recognition for only one of your pages; other 'A' pages are part of the gallery to share but cannot win any award/recognition. If you upload a double page spread for 1 Letter as one upload, it will be considered one upload; please do not upload the pages individually or they will not be considered a double page spread.
3. It is the VSBN Challenge Host's decision to award/recognize pages that best represent her challenge based on the criteria in the challenge. Please be sure to write your description of how you interpreted his/her challenge in your Upload Description.
4. Please remember to put in the correct KEYWORD: Fall11VSBN5, when uploading your image; a wrong keyword means your submission may not be seen for consideration. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure you layout is seen by the host and all visitors.

Hi Lura....thank you for being a hostess tonight. I like your challenge and I'm glad you didn't make us do something with sports since the album I'm doing is for DGS's first year! He didn't do too much sports related
But I can most certainly work with your 1-2-3! Off I go!
Hey Gang!!! I'm here for a bit...dh kicked me off the big computer so I'm on my laptop now. I hear thunder in the distance and it sounds NASTY! Hopefully it'll stay in the distance...we'll see.
LURA YOU ROCK! Love, love, love your challenge. I'm going to work on it tomorrow as I'm way behind in everything FUN because it's been family crazy! Tonight I'm finishing up my craft room rearrangement (that I had slated to do 2 weeks ago!). I'll be dedicating tomorrow to scrapping and CAN'T WAIT!!!

It's Saturday morning here and busy already. I've taken my 16yo to work (hospitality) and about to head up the hills to pick up a bed bought on ebay. My photos are ready to go, so will get busy when I return.
Don't have too much fun without me!!:p
Well...that's a tricky question actually since I work out of my home (they ran out of space for sales), I'm actually both...but....I'm done working for today so I guess you could say I'm home

I'm thinking our HS football game is gonna be cancelled...still no rain but thunder & BLACK clouds with wind starting to pick up...
I do feel bad for the kids here, it's been pouring all day. Jt plays in the band and they can't even march on the field tonight because it's too wet. It will be a mud bowl ... actually maybe they'll like it?

Such a fun challenge. I love distressing! And it was perfect for these masculine pages. I did cover up a name and pho number on Joshua's business card. I didn't have a photo of him with his mower! He is 14 now!

And I've got 15 minutes left to go and eat some of the baked beef stew I made today for supper! Boy am I hungry....DGS is Wii bowling...says he just got a Turkey...(More food )
