I noticed on some post you can click on the signature and it will take you to that persons Gallery or blog. How do I get this on my posts. Thank you in advance.
I have been editing my signature lines for a while now, but I see there is a limit on the number of characters that can be used. I can only get 3 links listed before I hit that limit. However, I see other people have long signatures with over 1,000 characters. How do they do that?
The HTML is included in the character count. So you only have three links, but there are oodles of characters in the html that makes up your links. You have 541 characters in your signature right now and there is a per line limit for characters, so that is probably what you're hitting...
Does that make sense? The longer signatures you're seeing are plain text and probably about the same length as the HTML in your links.
"oodles" is a good way to describe the url string when I am trying to link to a particular swap thread. Is there a shorter way to provide a specific URL without the "oodles" of characters?
