WT13 - Thursday Challenge - Join in!
Once again it is Thursday and time for another Ways to Use It Challenge. This week the challenge is to use FIBRES in your work. You can use the SU fibres if you have some or use some scraps of yarn that you have on hand. The craft stores are full of the most interesting fibres so see if you can find a way to incorporate them into your cards or scrapbook pages.
Please remember to put WT13 in your keywords section and post a link back on this thread so that we can all easily find and enjoy your cards.
Happy stamping and have an awesome week,
Julia
PS After so many people thinking I only have the two children, here is a pic of them all.

More Congratulations!
What a beautiful family! You look like such a relaxed, perfect mommy. Thank you also for continuing with your challenges as you juggle all your mommy jobs. As a long time knitter, fibers are my thing. Will enjoy this challenge, Nancy

Cool! I just bought some fibers at Big Lots a week or so ago. I already have a card in mind. Just need some time to play. The next few days are pretty jam packed.

My fiber selection is very limited, so I dug out the embroidery box.

What a great picture, Julia! Congrats on your newest addition! What a cutie!
Here's my card for the challenge. I'm not sure it qualifies...I used hemp. I tried fancier fibres and it just didn't look right.

Thanks Julia for this challenge. I'd been wanting to do the technique challenge all week and just couldn't get inspired...then when I saw this challenge it just all came together in my head. The hard part was having it in my head all day and not getting to make it until late this evening! LOL!

fishy fibers
Here is a card I made for two chalenges. This fiber reminded me of seaweed
so I had to use it here! TFL

My fiber card is uploaded. The fiber was easy. The Valerie Definition Sheet was another story. So glad though to now know how to do. Here's to all the awesome challenge. Thanks for your hard work. Nancy

It's been one of those weeks!
I finally managed to make a card with some fibres on it...a multi-challenge combo to get some of them done.

Thanks everyone for posting such great cards and ideas for using fibres. Sorry that things are a little busy here
and I haven't been posting as many cards and comments as usual. I just posted the new Ways to Use It Challenge at the below link and everyone should be able to play with this one!

Have a great day,
Julia
PS Please feel free to keep posting cards to this challenge even though the next one has been posted.
